No No “DKSchrute” I had my truck repaired at Lees automotive recently for some collision repair. The process went very smoothly and I was always kept up to date throughout the repair process by Quincy. She and the other staff members were always friendly and I could tell they were passionate about their work. If I ever am in need of collision repair again (hopefully not), I trust my vehicle in the hands of the people at Lees.

Rachael Lovette Referred by Insurance—Big Mistake. Avoid This Place!
My insurance company referred me to Lee’s Automotive for repairs after a minor parking lot hit-and-run—which should have been my first red flag. What should have been a simple fix turned into a disaster, and I got my car back in worse condition than before.
The original damage was just a scrape/rubbed paint on my rear bumper. Not visible dents. Instead, when I picked up my "finish" vehicle I found:
- The grab bars above the passenger and right rear passenger seats broken. (I wasnt informed until pickup)
- The passenger visor broken. (I wasnt informed until pickup)
- Dirty handprints all over the beige interior.
- A rear bumper light mysteriously out.
- My car looking like it had been washed with filthy water.
Luis, who handled my pickup, pointed out the missing grab bars and visor clips, promising to fix them once the parts arrived. He also mentioned my windshield was “loose” and demonstrated by pressing on it in the lower corners until it flexed—something that still feels fishy to me to this day. Why were they messing with my windshield in the first place? And why would you press on it like that—aren’t you just compromising its integrity more? This felt incredibly suspicious.
Then came the windshield wiper disaster. I first noticed the issue when I went to clean my windshield while pumping gas, only to find the right wiper misaligned and rubbing against the hood. I immediately informed my insurance of all the issues. The next day, I received a call from Patrick, who denied that they had touched my wipers—let alone anything on the front end of my car. However, once I explained that I had before-and-after photos and videos, he finally checked with the techs. That’s when they admitted they had removed the wipers because they “couldn’t find the battery.”
So they tore apart the front of my car just to find a battery? Simply lifting the hood and looking in, or even a quick Google search, could have solved that.
When I returned for the grab bar and visor fixes, I also asked them to correct the misplaced wipers. They returned my car—wiper arms unchanged. I pointed it out, they took it back, and still, nothing was fixed. Frustrated, I called them out again. A young tech, who looked barely out of high school, came out and insisted they were “fixed.” Only after I pushed back did he finally hop onto my car and reinstall them properly. But in doing so, he took no care—he just ripped the wiper arms off in a hurry, with no regard for my vehicle.
This place is unprofessional and sloppy. From the moment I arrived, it looked out of place and not somewhere I should take my vehicle—dated lobby, shabby exterior with mangled cars everywhere, and an overall not great vibe. I should have trusted my instincts and left and taken my care somewhere else. My insurance sent me here, and I wish I wouldve inspected it more before agreeing to it.
Thats my mistake and I hope others can learn from it.
If you care about your car, take it somewhere else.

frosty447 They worked on my vehicle after someone drilled a hole in my gas tank. The repairs were good. They didnt really communicate with me, but my insurance company said they communicated with them. I only heard from them when the work was done and they waited until an hour before they closed to call me to pick up my vehicle. I had to call for a ride and got there just before closing.However they left a sensor or something unplugged so my check engine light came on a mile from the shop. I called first thing the next morning and they told me their guy that works on Fords was off until Monday. I had to arrange to drop it off then. When they called me that afternoon to tell me it was ready again. I went and they didnt tell me what was wrong only that it was ready now. After I asked what was wrong they said it was a computer thing. Then they called me a month later to tell me that they found an accounting error and that I owed them more money. I talked to my insurance company who not only forwarded all their paperwork to me so I could see why I was being charged more. My insurance explained everything way better than the shop. I would not use Lees Automotive again because I didnt feel like they treated me very well. They shared everything with my insurance but not me. It is my vehicle and they should have talked to me as well especially since they charged me more money than they said they were going to.
