The new Salon Hairspace is an absolute gem. The space just gives off good energy as soon as you step in. It’s fun and bright and all the stylist are so welcoming when you come in. Full of knowledge, great products and that sweet vibe. My husband is also a client with another stylist in the salon. Hairspace is a true Tacoma gem that has something for everyone!

5 /5 Casey Granger: Kim’s been doing my mother in law’s hair for years and when I needed my hair done for my wedding, she gifted me Kim and she’s now been doing my hair for 5-6 years. She goes above and beyond to give me exactly what I want (and most of the time even better than what I envisioned). She’s the best! The salon is always super clean, cozy, and she always has the best music playing. If you can’t book with her, the other artists also do great work! I’ve seen so many amazing hair makeovers and happy customers. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

It has a funky, eclectic, chic style and the music is great and sets the tone for a relaxing & fun appointment. Parking has always been a breeze with lots of street parking right out front. There are a variety of products and Kim is always very knowledgeable about what products would work best for my hair. Absolutely love this place!!!

Jana cut my hair in a way that enhanced and evened out the different textures in my hair and I’m OBSESSED! Not to mention the fact that she wasn’t afraid to do short layers and gave me the shag of my dreams (that every other stylist I talked to said wasn’t possible). The other stylists I’ve met there are also lovely and very talented. It’s one of the few places I’d consider a safe place with genuine people. I could go on about my experience, but I would recommend them to anyone looking for a salon that’s educated on alternative hair.
