04-2025 Klickitat Valley Health in Find the Best 5 Banking & Credit Near You Goldendale, WAWoodland Urgent Care Center - Chehalis Jonathan Williams: Came to this place cause it was highly recommended. That was a lie they must’ve paid for peoples reviews. I’ve called multiple times and the machine answers you come in person and the reception area. Is left unattended. Finally 15 minutes later an older women comes from across the hall no name tag or uniform who knows if she even works here but she was rude, and dismissive she was clueless on what insurance was being accepted or the name of the doctor that worked for the clinic. These days it’s all about money for profit does anyone in the healthcare profession even care about people anymore. I won’t be coming back just horrible customer service I’m surprised they’re still in business. Future patients beware
Steck Medical Group - Chehalis Helen E: Steck medical used to be a great place to go. Ive been going for well over 20 yrs and today I was rudely told by the receptionist that my doctor only was there for 1month and left and I need to go elsewhere. Nothing nice about it. Just to bad go away attitude.
I had called on a different issue 3 weeks ago with no call back. No letter stating my provider left. No letter letting me know that my old provider, Dr. Lee, had left either. I used to get a letter letting me know my provider was leaving and to call and make arrangements to see a new provider.
Steck Medical has had a problem keeping providers for sometime. They dont pay female providers the same as male providers. This is the reason why I lost a great provider to a clinic in Tacoma.
Even their Urgent Care hours has gone down.
Providence Chehalis Family Medicine - Chehalis Rachel Nilles: I have been a patient here since 2015 and have always had an amazing experience with any of the providers. I have been a patient of Dr. Lee up until 2024, and he always listened to me and made sure we both agreed on a game plan for any issues I had. I recently switched to Dr. Slaymaker because I met her at one of my husbands appointments and loved her. I recently had my new patient appointment with her and she is absolutely amazing! She didn’t rush my appointment, she listened to all my concerns and we made a game plan together. She has a great personality as well. I have seen several resident doctors there for more urgent matters and all of them have been so kind and helpful. I am so lucky to have Providence Chehalis Family Medicine as my primary care provider!
Lincoln Hospital - Davenport Brit: On 2/2/2024 I submitted a complete request for financial assistance. While I was waiting for a response, I paid my bill, as requested by Lincoln Hospital, who said I would be reimbursed if assistance was approved.
On 11/25/2024 I received a Notice of Determination, which was a 100% approval of assistance. That day, I called and talked to Stephanie in accounting at extension 1124, who said there was a mistake or glitch in their system that made my request take almost a year to approve. She confirmed that I had been faithfully paying my monthly payments while waiting for my answer on financial assistance and that those payments from the day I submitted my request would be reimbursed to me, in the form of a check, no later than the end of 2024, sent to my PO Box.
It is now 1/31/2025. I have not received my reimbursement check. I have called her extension to inquire about it, like she told me to if I didnt receive the check. It goes to voicemail every time. No one else in the department can help me. They all say to leave Stephanie a voicemail, which Ive been doing daily, with no return call or email.
I was very thankful to God for what I thought was financial provision when I received our letter of approval. However, now I almost wish I had never received it and know the truth about the "financial assistance" program that the hospital offers. After a year of being in this mess (and after a year before that of never getting answers on how much my bill would be in the first place), I suggest families go elsewhere for healthcare, like we do now. Financial planning, investing in our health, and honest communication are all important qualities in Healthcare to me and my family. If you feel like you have no other choice but to use Lincoln, I suggest keeping very detailed records, like I do, not that it has helped us, but at least it helps me know what is going on. I would also suggest not wasting your time with the financial assistance application because it doesnt exist. Prepare to save up your own money.
Update: 1/31/25, after writing all of this out, I received a call from the CFO (still no word for Stephanie the director of the accounting dept) saying my "refund check just never got cut for some reason" and I apparently should now be expecting one in the mail in February...one year to the month after this began. Heres hoping! I really dont enjoy writing reviews like this.
Mason Health - Mason General Hospital - Shelton DJ Bass Phase: Mason General hospital does get a bad reputation and sometimes for good reason, but my experience was different. I brought my 2 and 1/2-year-old daughter into the emergency room for flu-like symptoms, and the receptionist, the nurse, and the doctor were all very kind and professional. I didnt get everyones names, but Brian the nurse, was spectacular. The one complaint I have is that we were here for quite a while, but that is pretty typical for an emergency room.
Mid Valley Hospital - Omak Allison Stam: I appreciate the care I received at Mid Valley Hospital. The male nurse, I wish I remembered his name, had the best bed side manner and compassion. I was in excruciating pain, and he brought down my blood pressure and pain level within what seemed minutes. Dr. Thill was also amazing. I was provided the best timely care and left with a very thorough, complete discharge plan. Thank you so much for what you do, MV medical team. I knew I was in great hands!
Christine Jaquish, MD - Omak Catherine Morgan: Mid-Valley Clinic was clean! The staff were friendly and professional! Dr. Jaquish and her nurse were so kind and friendly! I am very happy with the service I received from them and the clinic!
Tracey Shirk MD - Omak April Titus: I waited for 5 hrs to be seen being passed up by people that didnt look like they had any problems. I have frozen shoulder which cause another of pain and complete loss of motion or movement and yet still kept being passed over like I wasnt there i was there at 5 pm didnt get out til 11:30pm. But the staff I had when I finally got in where pretty nice. I did get some relief so I could function again in some ways.
