(Truck was broken and sitting more than being used for the better half of a year) it would return to me to be used for a couple months then it broke again. I believe they rushed through the work they did as they are over loaded and have a car storage lot more than a mechanic shop also didn’t want to help much steer clear

Gordon Starkebaum: We had a screeching noise in our front wheel of our 1998 Mercedes MLB320 while were in Pt Angeles on vacation from Seattle in July 2025. We recalled that we had gotten a repair from Rustys years earlier, so we found the relocated shop. Leon put the car on a lift and in seconds removed the small rock inside the brake which solved the problem. Wonderful service! When I returned home I found the record of our harmonic balancer repair on the same car by Leon in August 2006 in a hand-written note. Our car had died in the Red Lion parking lot and Leon had insisted that he would tow our car to the shop for fear of driving it might cause serious damage. We then left our car in Pt Angeles while we rented a car and went camping for 3 days at Shi Shi Beach. When we returned Leon had repaired our car and we still have it! So, kudos to Leon at Rustys for providing us with marvelous service for the past 19 years.

Marc Meadors: These guys are the best. My Hot Rod had an electrical problem and broke down as I was heading to the Ferry for Victoria. They came to my rescue, gave me a ride to diagnose the issue. Within a few minutes they found the problem and we were off on our trip. Can’t thank them enough!

Carl: Honest mechanic. Listened carefully to my description of symptoms and worked hard to diagnose the issue by driving it around several times and inspecting the vehicle. Since no definite issue he did not charge me for the consult...unlike a few garages (mostly related to towing companies) that wont look at your car without billing you. He offered to look at the problem anytime in the future if it gets worse or new symptoms happen. Very personable staff as well.

Mark Baumann: Frank is an excellent mechanic, honest, and fair. For over 20 years Frank has fixed every problem I have taken to him. I found Frank after four other shops couldnt find or fix a broken radiator cap. I paid a lot of money to those other mechanics, and $20 to Frank to replace the cap. When a different car nearly caught fire, he replaced the wiring harness and found a wood screw someone used that caused a short. Thank you Frank for being here!
