Kate Brown This sweet salon is now my happy place. I drive down from Olympia every 5 weeks to be pampered and get the best cuts I’ve ever had. From the moment I walk in to choruses of warm hellos to when I leave with the style I asked for, I feel like a queen. Ally checks to see how my cut grew out, then wants to know what I liked about it and what I’d like adjusted. And then she delivers. I trust her completely to give me exactly what I’ve requested. I trust her, too, to improvise or offer advice when I invite it. I’ve never known another stylist who communicates so clearly and often to ensure I get the results I want. She is a perfectionist who is superbly skilled at her craft. Love how she coaches and supports the other stylists, making sure they get the education she knows will advance their careers and build their clientele. I’ve made a number of new friends at Ally’s. Her welcoming heart, sense of humor and uncommonly generous spirit connect all her guests. We laugh and share and compliment each other like old friends. It all springs from Ally, who works so hard to take care of her guests and employees. This is indeed a special salon. I leave it looking fabulous and feeling treasured.

She’s knowledgeable, easy to talk to and makes you feel like family. Her studio is a very comfortable and relaxing environment. My rosacea is getting better under Stefany’s care. Monthly visits to her studio are just one of the necessary self-care expenses that even my husband doesn’t mind. And let’s face it…no one tames wild brows like Stefany! Make an appointment! You won’t be disappointed!

Chloe Stewart Stefany did an amazing job! From the moment I stepped in the door, to the moment I walked out, I felt so relaxed and welcomed. The hydro jelly mask she did on me was so cooling and refreshing! It felt so nice on my skin. The unicorn lip mask was also a nice touch! This would be so fun for a bachelorette party of even a pre-prom glow session. I highly recommend Stefany. :)

Erin VanderVelde Lovely, small studio. Stefany is warm, sweet and kind. I always feel rested and refreshed when I leave. She does a fabulous job lifting and tinting my lashes. Her facials are wonderful too. You can tell she loves what she does, it shows, and now its one of my happy places too.

Carrie Firestone I want to start with, the girl that did my hair was so sweet and I really enjoyed her. First , I went on the website and booked and you choose the stylist you want to do your hair. I chose the owner thinking that she would have the most experience. She was twice as much as choosing the person that I ended up with. I was willing to pay that because I wanted to be sure that my hair would not get ruined. When I arrived, the owner, who was supposed to do my hair, set me down with a new trainee. During the perm, she mentioned that people often get upset because they are not put with the person they chose online so this seems to be a regular occurrence. I brought many pictures of what I wanted and several pictures of what I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT WANT. I said “please make sure you have the fullest confidence that you can give me what I want if you have any hesitation I will still spend the same amount of money today getting a totally different type of hair treatment. Just PLEASE DONT RUIN MY HAIR . It’s taking me a long time to get it back to where it is after having a bad bleach job two years ago. “ They both said they’re very confident they could give me the look that I wanted. She finished and rushed me out perm with soaking wet hair and I couldn’t tell what the result was. As it ends up I walked out of there with exactly what I did not want and my hair was totally fried. I pulled out of the driveway pulled over about a block away and took pictures of my hair. In those pictures you can see huge chunks of melted hair and curls already falling out. She had to of seen that and maybe that’s why she rushed me out? I think the girl that did my hair had the best intentions, but no experience. She went by the guidance of the owner, who advised her to use entirely too small of curlers and did not check the quality of my hair sufficiently so that when I walked out the ends look like melted plastic and tight granny curls. I had to cut so much hair off when I got home just so I look presentable to go to the store. Also, within three hours of the curls were falling out so my hair was fried. I took pictures through the first several hours as it dried and several day following. By the second washing so much perm has fallen out but not evenly so I have waves and tight small curls and straight patches. I can’t do anything to fix it because it is so damaged and I have lost at least 4-5” in length so I can barely pull it back to hide it. I was going to go back and get it touched up and the cut evened out but I have decided I don’t trust the owner to have my best interest in mind. Perhaps the owner was having a bad day as we all can have but she had a vibe about her that just says don’t talk to me I hate being here. Her “nice” was very forced that day that’s why I didn’t push to have her do it because I could tell she don’t want to and the girl was really sweet so I just went with the change of plan. One last thought , when they both reassured me that I could have the curls in the pictures that I had brought, I realized today did they have no idea what kind of curls they actually produce because they’ve never checked on me or saw my hair since so maybe they have no idea that they’re actually ruining hair? Since there is no follow up? Maybe in their minds, it turned out just great because they never actually saw it dry? So take my warning and do not go there for a perm unless you are over 65. That seems to be the only style of perm they can do I guess no matter how many pictures you bring in. But then when have we ever gotten what we ask for haha no matter how simple it never is quite right . Looking forward to the next 3+ years of trying to fix and grow my hair .. yaay. - $250.00 trim and perm (They did 100% nail the ones I did not want though.) see pictures :)

She calmed him down, plugged his ears since clippers were scary, and gave him a hug so he would trust her! The atmosphere was fun, bright, positive, relaxed, and great music not too loud. Jen Taylor Tiffany owns this small business and I couldnt be more thrilled with her work. The salon is down town main street Chehalis in the building with the brown awning. Theres plenty of parking and easy access for handicapped or the elderly. Tiffany herself is incredibly talented. She just knows how to help a client figure out what they want and what looks stunning on them with their face shape and own personal routine. I get my extremely long thick hair cut and colored routinely from her... about every 6-8 weeks... and brow waxes as well. The color is always spot on and I leave the salon feeling like a million dollars. Her confidence boosting appointments always linger well after I leave - weeks in fact - and I always look forward to the next time I see her. She has multiple stylists working for her and a very talented nail artist who also rents space. I like visiting with the other stylists and find them incredibly down-to-earth and really stellar people. If youd like, Tiffany is always open to texts or reminders of your upcoming appointment and I always find that super helpful since life can often get carried away. I wish I could give her and her crew more than 5 stars. It doesnt seem to do her justice... because this salon is top notch!

Shelby Pemberton The Salon itself was adorable. Very convenient location. I came here to get my nails done around Halloween and I LOVED them, I have never been so happy with an acrylic set. However, the person who does nails is TERRIBLE at getting back to you when you want to schedule an appointment. I have texted, left voicemails, and reached out on Instagram within the last two weeks and nothing. Extremely disappointed with this behavior because I thought I had found my new regular nail lady. Bummer.

Sheila Johnson Lacee cut my hair in July to even out a cut from a former stylist. I set up a follow up appointment. On the day of the appointment. She texted that an unforeseen issue had come up and she had to cancel. No worries. I asked her to reach out when we could reschedule. A week later I was on a walk, went into the salon and saw she was there with a customer. I left, didnt want to interrupt. I was surprised she hadnt reached out to reschedule. She did text me that same day and offered one date with two times. I couldnt make that as I had an appointment in Olympia. She didnt respond back. Two days later I asked if there were other options to reschedule. She has yet to respond to that text (it has been 2 weeks). I am sure she had established clients to reschedule, but as a new customer who had the potential to become an established client, the lack of communication is incredibly disappointing. So, if you are experiencing this lack of communication, you are not alone. I was lucky enough to find a wonderful stylist at a different salon.

Amanda I had walked in to inquire about pricing and availability. They were busy. I sat and waited for a person to come to the front. A person did, we made eye contact, and she called her client back and walked away. I did not have a chance to ask anything. I had waited at least 10 minutes patiently. It is a lovely, clean environment. Cute little items to purchase. The customer service was not their at the time.

Rhea R My first time experiencing the kind, cheerful, and professional staff at Simple Simon was around a year ago. My first haircut here wasnt of the normal kind; I was beginning my transition and coming out as genderfluid/non-binary. When I first made the decision to cut my hair, it was hard to find a place that would accept what I needed and..understand. By chance, I decided to go to Simple Simon. I had walked by it multiple times, but had never gone in. My first steps in were tentative, but met with a very outgoing greeting by none other than Lindsay. She sat me down in her chair, and we talked about what I wanted. She let me cry a little, and even seemed on the verge of emotions too, after hearing my story and hearing what I wanted. She walked with me, every step of the way. Going from long, dark locks to a short, spiky blond do that blew me away. After her hair cut, I felt braver, more myself, confident. And every time I have sat in one the chairs at Simple Simon, whether it is Lindsays, Ashleys or Maddies (those are the three I have experienced), I am sure I will leave with a confidence boost and a great haircut. They are amazing stylists, incredibly kind people, and a wonderful staff. I would absolutely recommend them.

Ziotig Customer service is a lost art at this incredibly judgmental and entitled salon. Forgive if I believe that I am paying for quality service and to be treated with common courtesy. Apparently here, not only does Tracy not believe in kindness, she is also opposed to knowing how to cut hair. I would not even trust her with a trim. I immediately had to go to another salon and fix the back job she charged me for.

Talking to her bf who was sleeping next room. Left me with a completely horrible haircut! She ignored my request. Now I have to hide 7 days and let my hair grow back. I feel worser then i walked in with long hair! This place used to be good 2 years ago. Now I do NOT recommend going there. I will never go there again. Id rather drive 39 minutes to olympia to see my old barber. SHAME ON YOU!

I’ve tried everywhere else, inside and outside of town. Went back again today with dry brittle hair, stress induced I’m guessing.. the care was amazing, the cut was perfect. My hair is soft and lays correctly again. I received a cut when out of town and fought it from day one through 6 months. Didn’t know what was going on. Now I know, it was cut backwards or upside down for curly. It was cut bottom up not too down. These ladies are amazing. My definite go to. Next time I’ll schedule before I go out of town. Hands down recommend to everyone!

Maddy The women are very nice and honest. They do an amazing job and tell right away if they think something is a bad idea. Kara is always my go to and she did a terrific job on my hair. It was crunchy , dry , dead and faded and now its healthy strong and a beautiful deep purple red. You will never regret going to head rush 10 out of 10

Kristina Harrison Sherman First time at Head Rush salon with Teresa. We had a mini consult about color and what I wanted, then we moved right into the color highlights. I was there for two hours. After the color and cut, she also dried/ styled my hair. Cost was awesome and very reasonable!! Had a great experience and will be back!

Dilynn Phillipps Went into this salon confident with the stylist knowing what I wanted (all over silver, I’ve done the same thing for 10 years, and it was the only thing talked about beforehand of said appointment) only to be uncomfortably swayed into a hair color/style I have never done when I sat in the chair, being told what I wanted would just ‘take too long’ and she could make it ‘very close’ to what I was asking for. During my appointment with this stylist she also did NOT brush my hair appropriately and ended up ripping a decent amount of hair out of my head from brushing it wet and in a vulnerable state, with no concern about it, more than 2 brush fulls-worth. I used to use 3 crocodile clips and it goes up with one single crocodile, now. I was NOT shown the end result before I left the salon only to go home and actually see what I was given for hair. I’m guessing I wasn’t shown not only because of the under subpar work she did or the fact she told me she was late to get her son. And not to mention she never posted the work she did on my head to her platforms so right there might be a hint she wasn’t proud. She did take pictures. These pictures shown are 2 weeks after my appointment with shania. I washed my hair one single time with cold/lukewarm water, color protected shampoo and conditioner of course, a week and a half after our appointment. My line of demarcation was still so apparent in these pictures. That is where most of my breakage is as well. She ignored my messages and then claims I took too long to let her know she messed up or she would have offered to ‘fix’ it. It was not an easy ‘fix’ from how much the foils bled. Both front quadrants should have been red it bled so much. Ha (not funny) Which with how much hair loss I have had and the trauma caused from that appointment, that is why it initially took me two weeks to even send the first message that was ignored. The word trauma means a deeply disturbing experience and the definition only fits with my time in this salon. I could not believe what I saw, I’ve had multiple other professionals look at this now. Educators in Cosmetology and professionals included. Every single person is speechless in the worst way. When my first message was ignored, I had no choice but to get help elsewhere. I missed multiple days of work being so upset as well. She never even checked in with me to see how I was doing and if I liked it. She never even tried to reschedule me for the future. My message and me were simply disregarded. I have now had to have 5 inches cut off to make it even and not look like I have had hair loss AND have had a new stylist put 12+ hours onto my head to get what I originally came in and asked for the first time. Still no breakage like there was with shania. All of these hours and love and preciseness with my new stylist and I still haven’t been charged what I was in this salon. Crazy. I will never EVER recommend shania wilson as a stylist of any sort let alone anyone I know with blonde hair. The ‘blonde expert’ should definitely be retracted from her portfolio. And more people she has wronged should write a review. I know I am not the only client who feels this way. I just want people to save their money, sanity, peace of mind and time before they go thru what I did and PAY hundreds of dollars for trauma and such bad color work. I will end this by adding I will not be gaslit into thinking this is beautiful work worth hundreds of dollars I paid.

Ellysa Galpin Made an appointment with Shania. Got a text that she was running 30 minutes behind. Show up at the requested time to still wait 45 minutes before leaving. Would have been happier had this long of a delay was communicated as I had to take time off work for this appointment. Truly disappointed to not get my hair done.

Allyson Haley is amazing and by far the only hair stylist Ive ever trusted 100% with my hair. I can tell her to just do whatever and it turns out great everytime and thats rare to find. Im never letting go of her!! Shes great at hair and a great person in general. Ill be a longtime customer of Copa Salon. 10 out of 10!
