From simple trims to intricate cuts and the hair color or style of your dreams, Suzi’s got you. We always have great conversations and I leave feeling uplifted every time. Time spent with Suzi is like gold and if you don’t know, then you’re missing out.

Catalina Allen Suzi did a great job on my sons hair. He has a slight speech impediment, but she still made small chat with him and treated him great. The hair cut was wonderful and was very affordable. We have booked my sons next visit already... I will be coming by for my own hair cut soon.

Tara Giddens Jocelyn did my hair and makeup for my wedding and she did an amazing job. I came in for a trial with her and she helped me through the process of picking a hairstyle and she was so patient and kind while explaining both hair and the makeup she uses. I have sensitive skin and never had a problem with anything she put on. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup on my wedding day, the makeup felt so natural and light I couldn’t even feel it! She and her friend also did the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and they all looked amazing. I cannot recommend Jocelyn enough, she has such a beautiful, fun soul and made everyone feel right at home, not to mention she will make you look amazing on your day! My only disappointment is that I do not live in Port Angeles because I would be going to Jocelyn all the time!

Karen Goetz Jocelyn did hair and makeup for my wedding party in June. I did a trial run prior to that as I wasnt certain with what I wanted and she helped me to figure out the style that I felt comfortable with. She did an amazing job on the day of the wedding - everyone in my bridal party was happy with the service she provided. My biggest concern was ensuring everyone was ready on time, as my experience with wedding parties has been that hair and makeup typically run over the allotted time, but she planned the day out perfectly. Jacqueline Clubine I had a great first cut here. I showed up for my second appointment which was scheduled for 9:45am. I scheduled a month in advance, but mistakenly put 10am in my phone and showed up at 9:52am thinking l was early. Shawna then says "oh sorry well have to reschedule, l have a 10am". I have hair passed my shoulders and Ive never had my hair cut in less than 45 minutes in my life. She gave me a 15 minute appointment slot! I wont be coming back here. Edit to add: Based on Shawnas reply she doesnt remember my first appointment with her: she ran 15 minutes over time at our last appointment and l left without my hair being completely dry (which she apologized for). l have very thick hair that stylists have a hard time cutting and getting to dry completely in a timely manner. Not an issue with specific to Shawna, just specific to my hair type.

Darlene Martin OMG! If you have curly or wavy hair, you must have Shawna do your hair from now on. She introduced me to the Curly Girl Method and it has forever changed my hair for the better. K Meas-Truong I took Min’s in-person Make Up Class this month and it was a great hands-on experience. I highly recommend it, especially for those who struggle with their makeup routines or the end-result of their experiences. My goal was to be more comfortable with using makeup on myself and to build confidence with makeup application in general. I appreciate that Min had reached out to let us know to bring our personal beauty routine in order for her to customize her instruction to each individual. I personally had some pallets that did not compliment my skin tone and she helped me understand why and picked out the ones she recommended on the extra pallets I brought. She demonstrated some techniques for different eye shapes and helped us tweak our techniques to compliment our face shapes, which I really appreciate since my face is a sort of a round and square-shape. She also supplied a list of recommended affordable beauty products and showed me the colors she recommended for my skin tone. It was a very comfortable experience and felt like luxury beauty education (makeup application was the subject I struggled with in beauty school and this was a game-changer). My take-away from this tutorial/class is much more than just professional makeup tips, but a way to build my confidence when I look at my reflection. Since then I have successfully applied a full-face to last me through 10 hours of work! Thank you so much Min! I never thought I’d have the skill to achieve that. Again, if you have any doubt about your makeup skills, this class is worth it.

Carey Bell I used Min for my wedding makeup after she came highly recommended by my photographer. I was impressed with her communication, quick responses to questions, and flexibility with my trial as I was coming from out of state. She captured exactly how I wanted to look for our wedding, and gave me tips and tricks on how to prep my skin in the months leading up to the actual day. All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup as well, and it still looked phenomenal after hours of dancing. Not only is she an incredible makeup artist, but she also stepped up to do my hair and some of the bridesmaids on the day of wedding when our hairdresser had a family emergency and could not longer come. I would 100% recommend her to any bride, she is incredible.

Anais Zurita The make-up class was such an amazing experience! Min the instructor is incredibly knowledgeable and walked us through every step, from skincare prep to application techniques. I learned so many helpful tips that made applying makeup feel much easier and more natural. One of the biggest takeaways for me was gaining confidence in doing my own makeup. I used to feel unsure about certain techniques, but after this class, I can create looks that enhance my features. I also discovered new products that work so much better for my skin type and makeup style, which has completely upgraded my routine. Overall, this class was a game-changer, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their skills and feel more confident in their makeup application!

Christina Chang Min’s makeup workshop was a game-changer! I just had to share my amazing experience at Min’s Makeup workshop at It’slikelymakeupbymin. Guys, this class was so much fun and super informative! Min is not only a makeup wizard but also a fantastic teacher. What I loved most was how Min tailored her tips to each of us. She showed me tricks to complement my face shape and skin tone that I’d never have figured out on my own. Talk about a confidence boost! Min’s personality is what really made the class shine. She’s so down-to-earth and funny, I felt like I was hanging out with a friend who happens to be a makeup pro. Her enthusiasm is contagious and I left feeling excited to play with new looks. We covered everything from basics to some pretty cool advanced techniques. Min broke it all down in a way that made sense, even for a makeup newbie like me. If you’re thinking about upping your makeup game, definitely check out Min’s workshop. Trust me, you’ll walk out feeling like a million bucks and ready to rock your new skills. Jackie Johnson I wouldn’t recommended going here for a haircut. I appreciate the online booking and being able to book an appointment within 72 hours because I was on a pinch for a haircut. However, this was the only positive to my experience. I was charged $60 for a haircut where my hair was washed, but not conditioned, blow dried without product, and no styling. The stylist was nice and I tried my best to make good conversation, but she was definitely distracted and racing for time and I thought it was my fault appointment was taking too long. However, after I paid, I had to do a double take at the time and price because only 30 minutes had passed since I checked-in. I requested to cut my dead ends and freshen my layers/face framing/grown out bangs, but when I got home for a closer look, it’s an uneven cut and the attempted layers are blocky. I went back to the website to see if I selected the wrong type of appointment. Online, I saw I selected an 1 hour “women’s long haircut” for $50. It doesn’t list what’s included, but from my experience at other salons, the haircut includes a wash, condition, and a styling with product. There was another menu listing $10 for a bang trim. I’ve never been charged extra for cutting bangs in combination to a hair cut before. So that explains why my total was $60, and not $50. Maybe I misunderstood the type of appointment I booked, but it definitely should be made clear on the website and communicated during the appointment of additional charges or price changes. It’s not the absolute worst haircut I’ve ever had, but it’s extremely disappointing due to the poor attention to detail, excluding components of the service to save time, having misinformation on price of services, and up-charging. If you’re in a pinch and absolutely need a haircut, this is an option, but beware it’s overpriced for what you get.

JJ Pedigo FOLLOW UP REVIEW: we went in a week and a half later to get a Brazilian Blowout done for our girl. She was wanting to defrizz her hair, and that’s exactly what it did. She didn’t loose any volume and at first she was nervous that she might loose her natural curl, but Janae assured her of the process and we are both in love with the results!

Valeri Dunlap Had my first visit today. The salon is beautifully appointed. Cozy, but not too small, impeccably clean and modern. Lily was my stylist. She was very friendly yet professional. I have fine hair, but a lot of it, so it never has much body or holds style. She suggested a new cutting technique one of the other stylists recently shared with her, and the results are incredible! I seriously have NEVER been so happy with my hair. It has body, frames my face perfectly and my cowlicks (one right in front and one in the back) have vanished!! Ive been to plenty of high end salons, but Allure (and Lily) surpassed them all!

Kelly Hofer Best color job I’ve gotten in this town in MANY years. (It was a mess from the last color job and it’s absolutely beautiful now!) Lily is AMAZING at what she does! Very clean, fair pricing, and very accommodating! Will definitely be returning when I’m ready for a touch up!

Danielle Zitomer This is a cosmetology school, so I had moderate expectations going into appointment and only scheduled a trim and conditioner treatment. The student who cut and conditioned my hair did a pretty good job, and I was overall satisfied with her. However, while I was there, I was sitting next to the school instructors styling chair and saw her give 2 haircuts, which were both really obviously poorly done. She cut a middle-aged womans straight hair in a blunt chop across the back, and when the lady stood up, you could see there were uneven chunks of hair, so it looked really terrible. Like someone had tried to do a blunt cut but during an earthquake. Then she cut a little kids hair and gave her the exact same awful haircut. Also, when she came over to fix/adjust the hairdryer I was under during my conditioner treatment, she pulled it down hard into my forehead. However, the student who cut my hair did a pretty good job, was nice, didnt bash my forehead, and was very affordable. If you go here, just make sure you dont book with the instructor.

Mac Z Bree is an amazing stylist. She always knows what works the best for my hair and what will work the best for me. I have always have had a love hate relationship with my hair,but since Bree has started doing it I have a love Love realtionship with it. She listens to what I want and too my concerns and always addresses them before hand. She is very knowledgeable and uses high quality products. Nicky does amazing nails as well. I break nails easily due to my job and since she started doing them I break almost zero. She is creative and always lets you know what she is doing. Everyone at the salon is amazing and super friendly. All the ladies who work here do an amazing job and I would trust any of them with my hair. As a customer, I have the right to express my experience, but the owner is taking this personally. By publicly disclosing my name and publishing personal communications, including text messages, without my explicit consent, the owner is engaging in a clear violation of privacy laws and Google’s terms of service. This is not only unethical but also potentially unlawful. Such actions reflect poorly on the owner’s character and reveal an intent to intimidate and defame me as a reviewer. She seems to discriminate against people who work in professional jobs. I work at a hospital, so my schedule can be hectic. Once, I was 10 minutes late to her appointment. I was number 5 on her list, but suddenly I got a text saying I was next. I even texted her ahead to say Id be a little late, since I didnt expect to be next. I tried to make up for it by offering a bigger tip. However, she still banned me from the shop. It made me feel really bad, like maybe I did something wrong. Being a minority, and having moved to a rural part of WA a few years ago, this is my first time getting banned from a store in my life. Im not sure if it was just because I was late, or if theres something else going on.

Joseph Springob Stacey is great, I recently moved back to Port Angeles from Seattle so I was in need of somebody to cut my hair. I was hesitant to try just anywhere, The Mane Shop had great reviews. The industrial style interior has a chill and relaxed vibe when you walk in. I will definitely be back! Keep up the great work!

mike simons I read some of these reviews and it seems someone will always complain about something. Between reviews on here and her Facebook page you can tell she does a great job at a fair price (consistent with others). She has steady clientele of regulars that obviously respect her system and appreciate her work and attention to detail. Her system works for her with as busy as she is she can’t do the appt by phone and in turn helps her and the customers to be able to get taken care of. So I guess to those who complain or dare say she discriminates maybe you should just find another place that suits you better because apparently you will never be content and just prefer to complain and cut someone down to make yourself feel better. Keep up the great work Stacey!

Douglas Klos By no means does she "discriminate against people who work in professional job ... a cancer hospital." Theres certainly no racial discrimination. I ALSO work in Healthcare, and my schedule can be brutal. At first when I found her, I thought the list was strange and wasnt sure about it. A year later Im not unsure about the waitwhile. However it works for her, and everything is clearly spelled out. Ive had to cancel appointments before, but did so in plenty of time, never a problem for me. If you cant make her appointment method work for you, you can only blame yourself for not reading beforehand. Pretty sure Pietro, the review previous, was late to an appointment, didnt read her Terms of Service, and then tries to play the victim card. Its actually pretty pathetic. If you can make the waitwhile list work for you, its great. Being an employee of a major medical center here, it can be tough, Ive had to cancel, but gave plenty of notice. The girl working here is quick, and does an excellent job, literally no complaints. Irritates me when people write ignorant smear reviews when I cant reply directly, so thus thigs. THANK YOU FOR A YEAR OF GREAT HAIRCUTS! DONT HESITATE TO GIVE HER A SHOT!
