MultiCare Rockwood Clinic - Airway Heights - Spokane Tina Steffen: Dr. Briscoe is an absolutely amazing doctor. She cares, listens, and really has your back. I will greatly miss her. My new Doctor has big shoes to fill. I am also losing my favorite nurse Tammy. The next group of patients that get the pleasure of Dr. Briscoe and nurse Tammy are very lucky and I hope they dont take that for granite.
Much respect to Dr. Briscoe and Tammy!

Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center - Spokane matt rupp: Negative Review of Spokane VA Medical Center
As a 100% permanent and total veteran, I expect my healthcare to reflect the respect, efficiency, and care that I and my fellow veterans deserve. Unfortunately, my experiences with the Spokane VA have consistently fallen short of these expectations, leaving me frustrated, disappointed, and feeling marginalized.
The primary care team assigned to me has failed to provide adequate support, and communication is nearly nonexistent. Getting someone on the phone is almost impossible, as the facility does not offer a way to contact front desks directly to inform them of running late for an appointment, ask simple questions, or confirm details. The only option is to leave a message, with no guarantee of a callback. In my experience, only about 20% of messages are returned, forcing me to rely on the VA’s cumbersome online messaging platform. Even then, I can only send messages if I know the specific person or department to contact, which is often not the case. This leaves me no choice but to physically visit the campus to find the right office, a process that is neither efficient nor convenient.
The lack of accountability extends to basic scheduling. On one occasion, I scheduled an appointment in person, only to receive calls from the same staff member on four separate occasions—the day of scheduling, the next day, a week later, and a month later—each time claiming the appointment was submitted. Despite their assurances, it never was. Ultimately, I had to find the same doctor at their private community office and pay out of pocket to avoid the VA’s bureaucratic inefficiency.
The disparity in care is also glaring. While I’ve seen my spouse receive excellent care, including follow-up calls and detailed breakdowns of results and recommendations, I’ve never experienced such attention or service. The contrast is both disheartening and unacceptable.
I’ve reached out to the Patient Advocate multiple times, both in person and through the VA’s messaging system, to address these ongoing issues. While I appreciate their efforts, the time I’ve invested has yielded no tangible improvements. The system seems broken, with little urgency or accountability to address veterans’ needs.
As a well-educated veteran with extensive business experience, I understand the challenges of managing operations and processes. However, the inefficiency, lack of communication, and disregard I’ve encountered at the Spokane VA are inexcusable. This facility and its staff require a complete overhaul to address systemic issues and provide the level of care veterans deserve. While I would willingly contribute to such changes, the current state of the VA healthcare system makes such efforts untenable.
My experience with the Spokane VA has been a disheartening reminder of the work that needs to be done to ensure veterans receive timely, effective, and compassionate care. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for the leadership of this facility to prioritize the needs of the veterans it is meant to serve.
Medical Lake Veterinary Hospital - Medical Lake Jennifer Ghan: Medical Lake Veterinary has time and time again been worth their weight in gold for our household animals (cats, dogs) and livestock (mini cows, mini goats). They are quick to return estimates and generally have an open schedule for last minute appointments. I appreciate their willingness to do additional research on treatment methods before being quick to diagnose and send you on your way. For the most part, we have found the prices of their services, specifically for livestock, some of the most reasonable in the area.
Our only point of improvement would be timeliness on appointment start times. There has been a few times where we have waited 45+ minutes beyond the appointment time, which when you’re dealing with livestock it can be a bit trying.
We are thankful to have such a great vet in the West Plains area that treats all the animals we have. We recommend all of our friends and family to them.
CHAS Cheney Medical Clinic - Cheney ashshea86: Made an appointment as a new patient, it was a 3-month wait. They called me during work hours the day before to try to reschedule. However in their message they didnt say that they were canceling the appointment or needed to reschedule. When arrived I told them they should have informed me about that in the message. So I would have not waste my time coming to the facility. I was told there are certain things they cant say on a message due to laws. Thats a cop out.No different than sending a text appointment confirmation and has been done in the past when other providers cancelled with me. Was given a telehealth appointment. The doctor seemed like it was a waste of his time to be doing a video visit for a new patient. The only complaint I had was of an ear infection previously that didnt clear all the way up and pain beginning again . he told me to go back to my specialist. My specialist who by the way decided that I dont need any immediate appointments, doesnt get you in quickly and cost a whole lot of money to go to just to get some antibiotics...... unhelpful overall. Bad communication. Too long of a wait for the service. All around a bad experience when I was hoping to switch somewhere closer to home. Worth the drive to Spokane to stick with a different group. This is the first "low income" facility that actually made me feel low income and unimportant.
CHAS Perry Street Medical Clinic - Spokane Miranda Ellert: Miguel Posada and his MA Amanda are such a great duo when it comes to caring for their patients. The attentiveness, empathy and compassion they give is something you don’t find with most medical professionals these days. Miguel takes the time to hear his patients concerns, doesn’t rush and is fully engaged in conversations. I think every medical professional can learn from his techniques. Miguel and Amanda are a breath of fresh air and my anxiety during doctor appointments is nonexistent when I know I’m seeing them. Because of Miguel, I recommend Chas as the best medical clinic in Spokane.
Latah Creek Animal Hospital - Spokane Kristina: I love Latah Creek Animal Hospital. They treat every animal with respect, understanding, and genuine care.
They are more expensive than other vets Ive been to but their service and care makes everything worth it. Ive never had a vet take preventative healthcare during annual visits seriously (optional blood panels and blood pressure) and it gives great peace of mind. They are also transparent in their treatment plans and invoices.
Ive recommended Latah Creek Animal Hospital to everyone I know and now my whole family goes there.
