Rosalene Mullins The owner, Dana, is so nice. He runs a nice shop that is clean and comfortable. He is very friendly and know a lot about Cheney. My son goes to school at EWU and is also a Marine so he needs frequent haircuts. Dana makes sure his hair always looks nice and military ready.

Albert Pjosek Dana cut hair at EWU for over 30 years. His shop was in the ‘old PUB’. He knows so much about Cheney and the university. If you went to school here, he may have cut some of your professors’ or coaches’ hair. Very friendly and excellent service always!

When I didn’t live in Spokane, I’d schedule with her when I’d be home for a visit because she’s the best and I had bad experiences elsewhere. christine brooks I have been a client of Gingers for 35 years. She is an amazing stylist, colorist, and all around fabulous human being. Its a friendly and very professional salon. Always neat and clean. During COVID they followed all CDC guidelines and have even gone above and beyond what was required to keep their clients safe. The negative comments by Sarah Joy are completely off the mark. As you can tell by the other reviews, she is out there by herself. This is an incredible salon.

Lorraine I highly recommend Chee Chee - she is amazing and provides beyond excellent service! I was first referred to her when I was about to undergo chemotherapy and knew I was going to loose my hair. She is compassionate, direct, and knows what works. She helped me find a wig that I could afford and was beautiful - I got more compliments about my “new” hair style than from any hair cut. She did it again recently when my hair grew back and she styled my short hair. I have had more positive comments about my new haircut than ever. Thank you Chee Chee - you have been a bright and inspiring person during a very tough time and while I would not have believe it - having a good hair really does lift the spirit!

I had a terrible experience with a salon in Spokane (new resident) & Chee Chee’s completely exceeded my expectations. Jeanette Saxby Best Salon in Eastern Washington ! In the last 5 yrs, I have tried all the salons in Spokane Valley, and half the ones elsewhere in Spokane County. This is the first one where she got the color right AND managed to give me a flattering cut.....on the first visit. What a concept, right. Love the atmosphere of the salon, Cadyls expertise & experience - she is really, really good, offers helpful tips when appropriate, and is great with people. As Jimmy Buffet sang: "I have found me a home."

Kara DEvelyn I am a pretty low maintence hair person, and feel like I typically get taken advantage of at nicer salons because I cant talk the talk - not so at Breakstone. Hands down, the best experience Ive ever had! So appreciated of Cadyl who knew what I wanted before I could get five words in, took the time to experiment with my hair, gave tons of advice and ideas and did a fantastic job. She is clearly an expert. Even her products are great, my hair looks shiny and clean three days later and Im so regretting not purchasing the shampoo! Comfortable, laid back atmosphere, so enjoyed this experience and for the first time cant wait to go back to a salon. 10/10!

Mike Tochinskiy Joe left this location but when he was here he cut my hair perfect every time! He moved and started Bunker Barber right down the street. I had my haircut a couple times from some of the barberesses/ hair stylists and they did a good job.

Kelly A. I have used them three times for my boys hair cuts. While the cuts have been good and precise, not to mention they are very friendly. The time it takes to cut is way to long. For instance, I had an appointment at 4:30 we get there before that time and they are cutting someone else’s hair, so my son doesn’t get in the chair until 5:10 and then we are out by 5:50.

Nate Hiblar I got a medium length hair cut as a guy. I showed a photo, but was skeptical as I was being talked through the haircut process. End result was better than the photo, better than I thought possible. Amazing work. Attention to deal and the extra care was a treat. Hot towels, lightly scented water (spray), electric shaver for neck hairs. My beard was touched up without asking, and it was a needed improvement. My S.O. is very impressed too. Ill be returning. 11 out of 10.

Maddy Kessack Read excellent reviews and decided to drive from spokane to give this place a try. Called and was told to just come in. No appointment needed. Get there and they were just finishing a customer. I waited 20 minutes, no problem. 945 now, I sit down to get started and a 10 o clock appointment walks in. Im then instructed to get up and go wait for 30 more minutes. Wish they would of just had me book appointment vs wasting my time.

Lyndsey Wood Michael does an amazing job, and is very kind and accommodating. His prices are very fair, especially for how high the quality of his work is. I have been getting acrylics done for over a decade by very talented artists, but will continue to come see Michael and the amazing team at Nails With Heart!

Iris Bough I have never had a bad experience at this salon. He always finds time to fit me in even on short notice and he stands by his work. I have never been disappointed by a set of nails Ive gotten here and Ive gotten MANY. There have been times when I broke a nail and it would be fixed with no judgment which is refreshing. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants quality nails!

Virginia Fabbe Very unhappy with my perm and how I was treated when I returned to discuss. I specifically said I wanted curls, not waves, when choosing the rods. Result was very mild waves. Of course it looked curly immediately after and she only lightly picked it out and sent me on my way I returned to the shop in two days to discuss and same stylist told me that there were very nice waves and dismissed all my concerns. She said she was happy with the service provided. $120 plus 20% tip. I visited my regular hairdresser for a trim a week later and she said I should get my money back. That was not my goal. However I was offered absolutely nothing. Not even “I’m sorry you are not happy” I would not recommend

TheGardenKat Literally the worst color job I’ve ever had done. $200 to look like I have a year worth of grow out. It’s so bad it’s laughable. Stylist maybe said 5 words in the 3 hours this took. What I asked for vs what I got…..

My mom had such a great time chatting with her & was very pleased with her facial. Parking is easy & free. The salon was cute, clean & decorated so fun & festively for Halloween. Wendi Standley The salon stylists are good but they have bad customer service. The owner flat out told me they don’t have to accommodate clients anymore and if our schedules don’t work with our current stylists then they will switch is around to whoever may or may not Be available the next time. I pay a lot to get my hair done and I don’t like the switch and bait attitude.

Lillian S Hannah is beyond talented! She cuts hair beautifully, did a stunning color correction and balayage for me, and does the best eyelash extensions I have ever gotten! She works hard, spends the time to get things PERFECT, and is so fun and friendly. Also, I absolutely LOVE the boutique at the salon; the people who select the the clothes, jewelry, purses, shoes, etc. have great taste. I found the only pair of jeans that actually fits my body like a glove at this boutique!

Chad Bonawitz Kila is the Best in Spokane!

M C Never again! I brought in pictures, I used words, my hair ended up a good 10 inches shorter than requested. Apparently the reason was that i had split ends. Sorry, but the ends of my longest hairs were NOT split an entire foot up the shaft (I had come in with about waist-length hair). And even if they had been, I would have rather lived with that than with ugly short hair for the next half year (or however long it takes to grow out long enough so I dont feel like a man). I specifically said that I wanted the lower section in the back to stay really long, but apparently the hairstylist had a totally different idea than I had, but didnt take the time to explain her vision to me before hacking away huge chunks before I could stop her. Wont give the name because she is overall a very sweet person and felt bad and didnt charge me, but I felt that she was just in a rush and didnt care or listen or both. (also bumped my appointment up 2 hours just the day before, I had not asked to the time change, but unfortunately it worked out with my schedule so I complied) Thank goodness for wigs.

Angel Olivas I have been here 2 times already and I got Lycan as my barber. She has great attention to detail and does an amazing fade. I found my new barber! Highly recommend seeing her. I cant speak on the other barbers as I have only seen her.

Cindy Hamilton The lady that cut my hair took off 3 to 4 inches after I told her only what has to be cut. I had a 12.99 coupon , she charged me full price. Not even the discounted senior price. This is the 2nd time she done me dirty. NOT HAPPENING AGAIN!!
