Katrina Thiessen I wish I could give this salon, specifically Heather, more than 5 stars, this review is very overdue but I want to note that she is a phenomenal color master, plus the salon color educator, while simultaneously being very conscious of not compromising your hair. I appreciate the communication regarding price point for services and the fact she always keeps in mind what you want for your overall end hair goal, if it cant be accomplished in one session. Its been over a year of working with Heather to get back to blonde (I came to her with red hair!) after my hair was very damaged by previous color/products/neglect. Including pics of my color, that Heather has completed, and where I started with the red. Im always so happy when I leave Bella Red, thank you!!! Oh, side note, the gal she is training, I think her name is Emory, is equally fabulous and so sweet. They work together incredibly well as a hair duo/team and its really impressive to see such a strong and professional work ethic. Perhaps its also worth mentioning that I literally stalked peoples hair photos on Instagram for a solid year before committing to booking with Heather, my only suggestion would be, can you have the owner open an Olympia or Tacoma location? Until then Ill make the drive! Last two photos are where I started with color and very badly damaged hair, middle is current hair status. They are I believe an exclusive Bumble & Bumble salon plus clearly put a great deal of time and energy in perfecting color and cuts so obviously the price point is slightly higher than you might pay elsewhere but I think its worth every penny!

Anna Pittman It was my first time getting my hair cut at Bella Red. My stylist was Kasey, and not only did she give me an amazing cut, she took the time to educate me, step by step, on how I can best style my wavy hair. My hair has never looked better. Highly recommend her!

Amy Vanessa has been my hair dresser for three years. Shes knowledgeable, friendly, will listen, and takes the time to make your hair look amazing. She knows color and gives the best haircuts. Im impressed by her each visit. She is magic!

Dana Pereau Excellent quality service. Waxing is very professional and mostly reasonable. Owner, KT takes a personal interest in every client. Pedicure reasonable at $15 when combined with any other service. Same with manicure. She offers senior discounts and special pricing for any multiple services. Fast, efficient, and good quality. Dont miss out on this excellent Salon. Top notch.

Ana Davila My sister in law were in yesterday initially for acrylic nails my sister in law decided to get a haircut and color for the first time she really liked how her ombré look turned out. I’ve waited for Ashley the nail tech girl to arrive and it was so much worth the wait she first struggled with the glue not sticking to my nails (because I used hand soap before getting them done) she had to create 4 nails from scratch Ashley is so talented and takes care of your hands, I have a very sensitive cuticles and she made sure I was comfortable with the nail instruments. I will definitely be back for a fill and pedicure and haircut as well very nice lady’s and great prices

Kenny Bjorneby Ive been going here since the year she opened. Super super nice, although I have probably a simple haircut, Ive been going every 2 months for 6 years, and never had a bad cut yet. Rates (at least for mens cuts) are very good, and shes almost always available when Im ready to get a cut.

Rubi Herrera Kamira does an AMAZING work every single visit. Her salon is very relaxing, she is very professional but super friendly and inviting. Going to get my lashes done is a treat and I always leave feeling super happy and confident. Wouldn’t go with anyone else. Her prices area great too!

Lisa C Hair at Tiffany’s is the boutique I visit inside Sola Salons and Tiffany is great! She’s professional and keeps up with all the newest trends! I also love that the doors to the entire building are kept locked and guests must be granted entry by their stylist. I feel totally safe having my hair done in Tiff’s boutique.

GaTeckla Warner Isabel at halo beauty was scissor happy I believe. I only wanted less than an inch off and about 4 inches are off, and I’m very devastated because I was working on my hair growth journey. Photos below are of my hair length before and after.

Kelly Nguyen For the past few visits I’ve continually had to go back the next day for corrections whether it’s from the cut or color. I continue to go back to Helen bc it is familiar and close to my house. My cut this week is the final straw. She completely botched my hair cut making it significantly shorter than I asked. The style is not what I said either. She never once checked in to make sure we were on the right path. By the time she turned the chair facing the mirror, it was too late. I was shocked. I have two major work trips coming up and I am so embarrassed with how my hair turned out. I wish I could rewind the time and never have gone. End up paying full price for the wash and cut (45) for the worst experience I’ve ever had. There is no question I am taking my business elsewhere.

Valarie Davies Well so much for trying to support local businesses! I made an appointment for today at 330 arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early, and was told at 330 that the person who was going to do my hair was out, but she would be back shortly. There was one other person ahead of me who got served and then when they were done with him I assumed she would at the VERY least start by shampooing my hair until the other attendant arrived! I sat there for 25 minutes waiting for one person to come in and take care of my hair! The only person finished up with the client that was there before me and didnt bother to wash my hair. Didnt bother to see if there was anything she could do for me. I had to sit and wait! There was NOBODY else waiting in the salon! So I guess its a good thing that my reviews are well received because Im going to leave a terrible one. What a total waste of time and gas. If they werent going to be able to take care of me today, they shouldnt have given me the appointment! I really dislike wasting my time and being treated in such a manner!

Tamira Tserendavaa I found this place through google and decided to try out. Helen is nice person but her haircut skill sucks. She doesn’t know how to cut hair. She was having hard time cutting my side bangs. My hair looks chopped uneven and made my hair even more thin! I will not be going back.not only that my hair color is bleeding and scalp is super painful. I still paid $120 plus tip. It wasn’t worth it. Sorry but businesses should be reviewed fairly. That’s my experience

Amber Peterson While looking for a new stylist I received a few really bad haircuts. My hair was choppy and uneven, I couldn’t stand it. I decided to come here because the reviews were so good and I was not disappointed. She took the time to listen and helped fix my hair. She gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. My hair feels so much healthier, my layers and framing are perfect, and she didn’t need to take off much length to make it all happen. I will be a return customer. I trust her with my hair.

Also great eyebrow wax Update- I have now received many haircuts from Tweety most recently a chop from below shoulder length to an extremely flattering shorter cut at my chin with layers. I was a little nervous, especially because I have such thick curly hair, but I showed her a few pictures and she got right to work after asking me a few questions. She made fast work and I was out of there within like 25 minutes, but every cut was expert and precise. She knows exactly what she’s doing and I love this place.

shannon robles I love getting my hair done here. She does amazing cuts and colors. I needed a new fresh look and i keep getting compliments. My hair is so silky and shiny and a beautiful style. Been told by many i look 10 yrs younger...i definitely feel it. She is so reasonably priced and my hair looks like i spent 200.00 on it and its a fraction of that. If you want top quality work on your hair, cuts, colors, blow outs, root touch ups etc... that wont break the bank but looks like you did... SERIOUSLY come here. I will be a customer for life...

Ruth Myers Lorena is amazing, she does a great job and I drive almost 45 minutes to her place. I totally recommend this place. I love the way she does my hair, from cut, curls and color.

Denice Melendez I went about 2 weeks ago and had an appointment at 1pm for a haircut along with my sister. We called the day of the appointment to confirm but the lady who was going to cut our hair pushed it to 1:30pm. Which is fine, maybe she was busy, but I would have preferred if she were the one to reach out first and let me know. We arrive at the salon around 1:33pm and the lady was still doing someone else’s hair, so I assume that she was running behind her schedule. She did not even do my hair until 2:10pm because she was extremely behind and once she did do it, she brushed my DRY curly hair and cut it super fast. She did not take 5 minutes. She was taking her time with the customer before me but she did not take her time doing my hair. She rushed me out of the chair and said that she did not have time “to dry my hair” even though she did not put any water on it, only some hair oil. She did the same thing with my sister, the cut entirely rushed. We canceled an appointment we had that day in order to get our hair done, which was done horribly. When we left the salon, our hair was extremely fizzy and greasy because of the oil and the dry brushing. Now that I had time to straighten my hair, it looks extremely choppy and so uneven. I really hope this salon learns time management, customer service, and quality because it is the bare minimum in order to run a successful hair business. We made our appointment ahead of time, and it was a waste of our time and energy. I am embarrassed to go out like this. I put a piece of paper behind my hair so you can see how uneven and choppy it is. I am so disappointed. $30 wasted for both haircuts.

Angela Dale Ive been going to the Haircase for years. Its a warm, inviting, clean, sanitary, covid sensitive, affordable, and a super comfortable place to go for all ages, genders, and those with limited mobility. Ashley (co-owner) listens intently to my needs and high expectations til we are on the same page before my hair is touched. She is 100% honest to what will work and what will not as well has no issues saving me money. Example: I was interested in a Brazillian blow out...I cant afford to have it done first and second as frequent as it would need to be done...(Ashley and her creative self) showed me step to step how to do it at home myself with professional products I already have. With my schedule always changing and the need to see her every 4 to 6 weeks, I can say with complete confidence she makes herself available to see me. I live in University Place, and my work schedule changes week to week. She goes above and beyond to make sure I can get in accordingly. Is it because of a lack of clients? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Its about making us ( clients) a priority. From walking in....to having my hair done... to leaving I NEVER feel rushed. She schedules plenty of time for every single client and is open to changes during the appt. I have a head full head of premature gray from a very young age, length to the middle of my back. I knew it would be a challenge to cover professionally. Ashley never ceased to amaze me with how I leave the salon 100% satisfied. Now is it perfect every time...theirs been a time or 2 the color didnt take as well as I expected. It could be a number of reasons... At the end of the day, she would consult with other stylists to what couldve been the reason. The MOST important part to me is that its extremely comfortable addressing it with her she had absolutely zero problem correcting it. My hair is my personal investment, and expectations are set high. Ashleys style is... at the end of my appt she will go thru it to be sure I am happy and satisfied before I walk out the door. Its a professional, non judgemental place to go. Its truly an appt I look forward to going to and dislike leaving. I will highly recommend this salon as well...theirs other hair dressers for all personality types. Ive sent referrals to them that would agree with the full experience I do!!!! This salon offers a plethora of other options as well, barber shop, waxing, weddings, proms and does the hair of Ballroom dancers (professional, I might add). She wouldnt have been invited back as well as getting referred to others if her work wasnt optimum. I recommend making a appt...you will not regret it!!!!

Kristin Weinkopff I’ve seen two different stylists here and both were great. I walked out loving my haircuts. The only reason I‘m giving this 4 stars is because it’s somewhat difficult to make an appointment with a lack of receptionist. When you call you get a voicemail and the voicemail doesn’t reference the business so the first time I wasn’t sure if I had called the right number and ended up hanging up and calling back. Now I know to leave a message. I’ll get a call back and return the call just to leave another message. That being said. I’ll still do this dance because I’ve liked both ladies and the work they do. They’re worth it.

Harry Everett My family has been going there for years now. For service in haircuts, the owner is fantastic. She really cares about her company and the quality of haircut and job. She does the offer so much more than just haircuts. Definitely worth checking out and going in family oriented place. Also my son is special needs. Shes really good working with kids that have special need cases. If you have not been there and tried their place out for haircut and their service, your missing out.

kaden kiwi I came in for a wave perm and a haircut. The haircut was fine other than some of the layers being short which gives my hair a weird shape on the top. For the perm, however, I came in with pictures of people who had wavy hair (who also had gotten perms at different salons). My stylist said she was going to give me a body wave perm, which some of the pictures I had shown were of body wave perms, so I was completely fine with this. After a few hours, the perm was finished and i was left with a 80s poodle haircut/perm. None of the pictures I had shown had spiral curls, and I had strictly said I wanted WAVY HAIR not CURLY HAIR. Their entire salon was filled with people over the age of 70, so if youre also of that age, Im sure this salon would be fine for you. Im 15 and I personally was not very fond of having the traditional grandma haircut. I was extremely displeased with my stylists inability to listen to my explanation of what I wanted, and I feel that she sort of did what she wanted to do with my hair instead. Luckily I was able to somewhat fix it at home by brushing it out while blow drying it, but the top layer is still too short and Ill have to just wait for it to grow back out. The layers really arent my biggest problem, the problem was the perm and her lack of ability to listen to what her client wanted. So, If youre under the age of 65, or just want a stylist to actually look at the pictures you gave them, I do not recommended this salon and I personally will not be returning.

Rolene Yousefyan Services received: bad highlights for root touch up and a not so great haircut When: about 4 weeks ago. Here are some pros, cons, a description and photos of my hair. Pros: - convenient location - timely response if she is messaged on Facebook - the shop looks fine Cons: - bad job all around in the color and quality of the highlights (they turned out GREEN and ORANGE instead of blonde) - I asked for layers (v cut), but received a blunt cut in the back and some layers in the front - she was extremely rough with my hair and scalp, to the point that I had scabs on my scalp, a headache, and my scalp was sensitive to touch and movement of my hair for about a week - I called the shop twice and my calls were ignored - she didnt speak to me much other than asking me if I was Indian. I would suggest just asking someone what their ethnicity is instead of trying to guess and getting it wrong... Here is some detail if youd like to read more: I am not a picky person, so for me to write this review even after a month says a lot. I am extremely unhappy with the results, even if I was to have to go back for my hair to be fixed by her, I wouldnt. I wish I could get a refund, because I tipped well; I shouldnt have tipped, but my scalp was in so much pain that I just wanted to walk out ASAP. I didnt even get a good look of my hair, I just ran out after paying! Backstory: I just moved to the area and was looking for a new hair dresser. I found this salon on Google and looked into her work on Google reviews and Facebook. I saw a photo of her work that included highlights so thats the reference I showed her of what I wanted. Once I got a reply on fb messenger, since my calls to the shop were ignored, I showed her pictures of my current roots and hair length that needed to be touched up and cut. She said she could do it and gave me her price. Washes: My hair is thick, long, dry (because of highlights) and wavy/curly. She washed and brushed it very roughly at least 3 times throughout the 3 hours that I was there. My scalp was in so much pain I was just praying to God for her to finish so I can get out of there. Over the next week or so I found scabs on my scalp because of how rough she was. If you look closely at the photos youll see a few scabs on my hairline... Highlights: I have gotten highlights several times before and no one has ever done two things that she did. 1) colored ALL of my roots reddish brown on top of the foil highlights, which is pointless because my roots are already dark brown...the colors bled through and it looked patchy... 2) she used toner TWICE. No one has ever done either of those. She knew she messed up because she told me that the darkness and the color will change after a few washes. My hair still has orange and green hues in it, and my roots look horrible. I straightened my hair so you could see the colors better. Cut: If I wanted a blunt cut, I would have asked for one, or stayed at home and done it myself. I asked for v-cut layers. She spent 10 minutes of the 3 hours that I was there to blunt cut the back, and layer the front. This might work on straight hair but you cant do this to curly or wavy hair without it looking ugly. Please, watch YouTube videos and buy your own color/ highlight kit from ulta or something, youll probably do a better job yourself and save yourself a lot of money.

Don L. Excellent service! I moved and usually have to drive a long distance to get my haircut at my usual place but I found this place and Im very happy with my cut. I forgot to ask the name of the hairstylist that did my hair but she took her time to do it right and didnt rush to do things. She was friendly and attentive. Im definitely coming back.

PHUC TRAN I recently needed a fresh look for a portrait for my company email, and Saigon Hair Salon really delivered! My previous hairstylist moved out of state, so I’ve been searching for a new place, and I’m glad I found this salon. The staff took excellent care of me, and their professionalism was top-notch. The stylists skills are beyond explanation—Im incredibly happy with the results. I highly recommend Saigon Hair Salon if youre looking for a place where youll leave looking and feeling great!

MaKenna Hall Gave me bald spots. I just read the response you just gave to my review. Absolutely unacceptable lady. I don’t know where you went to hair school but never in a million years have I ever had a hair dresser give me bald spots. You are lucky I didn’t come demand my money back. Who does that? Who uses thinning shears at the root of the hair? Never in my life have I ever seen that and I’ve had my hair thinned by professionals my whole life due to my thick hair. No client would ever ask for a bald spot. You’re technique is clearly off. There’s no reason thinning shears should go higher than halfway up the strand. You’re a special type of pitiful and sad for not offering my money back but secondly blaming me for you giving me a bald spot. I’m absolutely astounded. Let alone you tried to convince me to get highlights after you cut it clearly trying to hide your mistake. And the highlights are the worst I’ve ever had. I can’t. I literally had to get extensions to hide what you did to my hair.

Hudson Horiuchi Just finished my 3rd visit here after my friend Kyle was hyping this place up to me. And I’ve been more than satisfied each time. Besides the great haircut she has amazing customer service, very nice. I would highly recommend coming here.

Crystal Bazan Kyla is an artist with expert training and experience as a colorist and teacher. She has been my stylist since I was in my 20s and Im in my 40s now. She will NOT mess up your hair. You will leave feeling refreshed and new. I would not let anyone else touch my hair. She is amazing! I promise you will not be disappointed.

Roxanne Lapierre Kyla is by far the most meticulous hair stylist I have ever known. Her attention to detail and her competence with coloring is unmatched. I have been changing my hair consistently for over 20 years and have seen many different stylists. Kyla takes the time to figure out exactly what you are looking for and then executes it perfectly. I have never left her salon unhappy, and will continue to see her as long as I can. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trusted/experienced stylist!

Dan Young I have used Kyla for over 20+ years and have consistently received excellent haircuts. She also has dyed my daughters hair numerous times for roles in theatre, and now my two boys use her. I highly recommend her!

Beth Baggaley Kyla has been cutting my hair for the last 7+ years and each time I walk out of her Salon I have an amazing cut and style. She is always enthusiastic and supportive in my desire to try something new and with her expert advice and direction, it is always a good experience.

Chantel Lane Kyla helped me restore my hair after years of coloring it myself. It took a few sessions for me to achieve the much lighter look I was I was looking for. Kyla guided me through the process and I very much felt she had the experience that I needed. When I see her I don’t have to feel nervous or questionable about her work. Miss Ninja Girl I have been seeing Michelle for my hair for 2 years prior. I had moved away from Seattle about 2 years ago to Spokane. I tried to find a replacement there. I went to 3 different salons. They either overcharged me, felt like they didnt care and I wasnt feeling the satisfaction of my hair. I was tired of trying a new salon. I made several drives over to Seattle frequently anyway and called Michelle whenever I was in town. She still works with my schedule. She really cares about how your hair should look on you. She doesnt just cut, style and let you go. She takes the time to make sure your hair is right and looks good before walking out the door. Im always happy with my hair when I leave her salon. Now I reside in Seattle so I dont have to commute from Spokane. Its great to be back in this beautiful city.

Tammy Bahama Fantastic talent! I fly from ARIZONA to get my hair cut HERE. Michelle is fantastic and I am picky. I’m so glad I found this place. My hair is long and dry. She cuts it to where it will look good grown out, even if I don’t see her for 6 months. She is honest about when something will not look good on a person’s face or hair and has the experience to prove that she is right. She knows what she is doing and I always leave feeling posh. Her prices are surprisingly very reasonable. She could go open a fancy salon in NY or LA with her ability to envision a look for someone but I’m so glad she is here!

Rio Mathews I’ve been coming to receive services for 3 years now and I’m never disappointed. Simran is the only one I trust with my eyebrows! She is so knowledgeable about skincare and always recommends the best products and services for my needs and budget. I recently had a baby and experienced some sever skin discoloration that left me very self conscious. Because I’m breastfeeding, she suggested against retinol or a chemical peel and recommended a wonderful gentle facial service instead. Highly recommend her! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lani Holi I went to get waxed at this place and was grossed out by how many times the girl who i believe is the daughter, kept re-dipping the same stick into the wax pot. Not once did i see her dispose the stick after every application. The station was so dirty too. Its like they dont care about hygiene and proper sanitation protocols. Don’t get me wrong, they’re nice ladies but they need to be more professional and keep their stations clean, especially the waxing area. I have attached a pic for reference of their waxing room area.

Elda Garcia My mother came home today with this HORRIBLE tint job. She was given black tint when her hair is a lighter brown. And was also told to wipe the tint off herself when she got home……. It didn’t come off. This is what it looks like after several attempts to decrease the color intensity

Jo Ielu First experience was good with the younger lady last month. Which is why I went back Yesterday and an older lady did my “Upper lip and Chin”. That is all I asked for and I seen on here that the price for upper lip and chin was $5 each. First the lady was overly aggressive grabbing my hands to hold my chin for her to thread it. I’ve been to a lot of different threading places and never been asked to that nor ever had the worst experience and unprofessionalism. After I was done doing just my upper lip and chin like I only requested for. The lady said it will be $25. When I started questioning where she came up with that price. She started getting an attitude and said because “ I have thick hair”. I asked where is the prices at (no where to be found) because online I seen that it said $5 upper lip and chin each. The lady then said $5 here pointing to upper lip, chin and underneath my chin saying $15 and apparently +10 because my hair was thick. Even though specifically I told her UPPER LIP&CHIN ONLY. I asked why did she not tell me. She replied “because you never asked”. She then looked at me with pettiness and said “Fine that will be $20.” I don’t mind paying the price but when you flat out start LYING about prices. That is where you lose customers. I normally always tip about $10+ depending the services I get but since she decided to make her own prices. I did not tip because of her horrible service and lying about made up prices. I WARN YOU TO ASK ABOUT PRICES BEFORE GOING WITH THE OLDER LADY. The younger one I had no issues with but after yesterday I am never going back here again. I should’ve known the lady was not going to be good because the customer before me was going back and fourth with her that she removed more hair from her eyebrows the she requested the lady to thread off and apparently that was the 2nd time she did it. That older lady is rude and a scam!

Kiarra Unkrur 5 stars because this place always listens so well & gets my hair exactly how I want it. Walk ins are always available and when I do wait, it goes by so much quicker than other salons in my opinion. Not to mention I’ve had my hair done by multiple of the women and can’t complain about a single outcome. They all do great! If you need a quick but great haircut, this is definitely the place to go. Plus the price is great in todays competitive hair prices. Always tip because these ladies deserve it!!

Trang Dang Me and my boyfriend been coming here for few months. The price is affordable, and the ladies are really nice. Man hair cut is around $19, you may have to wait a little bit sometime.

Lisa Afuola Brought my son in for a high and tight. Our stylist was just an all around amazing person and was thoughtful taking her time to ask if I wanted to add a shampoo so she can assess more clearly after the initial cut to ensure his final cut/fade is even. We will be back!

Bean Chris at Castaway did my bridal styling and gave me the most perfect soft, romantic style. My hair held up perfectly through an outdoor ceremony and I got so many compliments. Chris was an absolute delight, she was sweet and made sure to communicate throughout the whole process.

Raven Morrigan I had a terrible experience here. I got my hair done one week before my wedding. It was messed up and I came back in to get my hair fixed the day before and the manager/owner argued with me and refused to fix it. She refused to give me a refund, and even when the hair stylist who did my hair offered to do something, the manger intervened and stopped her. She made the day before my wedding awful. She is so mean and callous, unconcerned about her clients. I spent nearly $400 on my hair and this was how I was treated. Dont go here. I hope they lose business and close down. Dont go here if you have a big event. They dont care if they mess up your hair and you have to deal with it. Reply to their reply: I cant believe your rude and terrible reply. I tried to come back to your salon to talk to you and all you did was treat me like you did not have time for me and I was being unreasonable. I didnt yell or anything. I came in calm and asked questions and for over 30 minutes you just shut me down and said there was nothing you were going to do. You did not try to do anything. My hair is terrible and you are a liar. I told you it was my first time dying my hair red and you told me it would only bleed a little and then that it would stop after a few days. I explicitly asked you about the color setting in my hair when I scheduled my appointment and when my hair was being done. There is hair sealer that I have found that you can easily purchase from Sally Beauty. You told me I was being completely unreasonable when I asked you for a color sealer and they are literally everywhere. You did nothing to seal the color and it is ruining all of clothes. You told me when I came back that it would always bleed and I just needed to deal with it. You did not offer to do anything or any other solutions. You are a terrible person who lied to a person who wanted to dye their hair a fashion color the first time, then completely gaslighted me by acting like Im crazy when Im upset that its bleeding everywhere. You outright lied and said it wouldnt be an issue after a week then during the appointment, that it would stop after a few days. Thats what you said initially then suddenly changed your tune like I should know its going to bleed over everything. You take advantage of people and dont care that you charge all this money to people and wont help them when they have problems. Now you are trying to blame me when you gaslight and lie to me. You are awful.

Rockway-Musar Wedding Grace was lovely to work with for my June wedding! As an out of state bride, it was tricky to get everything done in the weeks leading up to my wedding. Grace was able to fit me in for a cut, color and trial. When a few days went by and sun damage altered the color, she squeezed me in for a correction which turned out perfectly! The trial went great and she documented all angles so well. The day of the wedding went perfectly. Grace was able to set-up in a relatively small space (Airbnb kitchen) and knock out hair for me, my mother and two sisters in record time! She had a great attitude and brought such fun energy to the day! Most importantly, my hair lasted through the whole day without feeling too stiff. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Adam E My fiance had an appointment to get her hair done by Betty. When she went in Betty wasnt there and was told that Betty wouldnt be in but that she was to do my fiances hair. This lady had no clue what she was doing. Loose braids Upton and tight at the bottom with strands sticking out everywhere. Betty was actually coming in and was confused why the other girl did it. My fiance brought in her own extensions which were now ruined and wasnt compensated and still charged full price to have Betty fix what someone in her shop did. Also my fiance had fallen asleep during the time Betty was to fix it only to wake to find that same girl being trained on her without being asked. Completely unprofessional shop I would never recommend anyone going here.

Y T I got magic setting perm done at Coco Hair a couple years ago and when I look at the old pictures I still get mad that I paid $350+ for it. I was a laughing stock for my family and friends before it got straightened. They were seriously concerned for my hair but couldn’t hold their laugh for how ridiculous and funny it looked. The curls were so strong on my bangs and side hair that it was sticking out to the side like antenna. I have been getting perms at korean hair salons both in the US and Korea for over ten years and this was the biggest flop i have seen done on my hair. I could tell they don’t have the right equipment (or i should say “up-to-date” equipment) for perms and she doesn’t seem to have an understanding for different hair textures and how that could affect curls that she needs to apply different techniques based on that. On top of everything, her reaction to her failed perm was very disappointing because after blow drying my hair she straightened my bangs and front side of my hair with a flat iron to hide the flop. And even had the audacity to tell me to straighten it every day with a flat iron. In the end, i did contact her about it and She did apologize and offered to straighten my hair but i think she should have also refunded me because my hair was severely damaged from two perm treatments in a row and it took me over a year to recover and regrow. I think it’s upsetting that I initiated this complaint and she tried to hide it and took my time and money for my hair to get severely damaged in the end.

Paula Kilbourn My hair was a mess due to my attempts at haircoloring and cutting myself. CoCo to the rescue! All that work here are excellent, skilled at what they do. They work as a team together on a client to enhance the finished product. In my case I had Color and allover highlights. I am very pleased with the finished product and have no qualms in recommending them.
