Erik Olson I brought in a 4th gen 4Runner that was in rough shape. Clear coat totally gone, interior with a bunch of stains, etc. Thai did a thorough inspection and was very honest about the limitations of what could be done. He did everything he could to restore the paint and turned a totally dull paint job into a quasi shine, which I thought was impossible. So pleased. The interior work was incredible too. All stains gone and they got out a smell that had been in there since I bought it. They have an ozone machine they can use to really get the interior cleaned up. TL;DR - Highly recommend these guys for interior/exterior details jobs. They are experts, are honest, and charge fair prices for their exceptional work. Ill be bringing all my vehicles here for detail work and may have to come back to try out their maintenance services soon as well.

Nancy H I had a similar diagnosis as the last reviewer, but my situation was worse. Had service done on my transmission. I drove a 2015 Nissan Platinum with 140k miles that was running beautifully before service. I had instant problems and brought my car back because the check engine light instantly came on. He couldn’t figure out the problem that he caused. He said it was the 02 sensor - it was not. My transmission blew and left me stranded on the freeway 3 days later. I had it towed to Nissan and they diagnosed my transmission failure. I sold my car to salvage. DO NOT bring your car here for anything other than an oil change and frankly I wouldn’t even do that. Not a knowledgeable or good mechanic.

Brian Serjeant Absalute fraud dont trust this guy and dont take tour car here. We trusted him. With my 2001 pontiac grand prix. Took it in for a coolant flush got it back with a leak. Asked them to overlook there they wanted to charge me. Needless to say eversince I have had one problem after another with my cooling system, overheating ext. Thanks for ruining my car charging me over $1700 and taking no responsibility for it. Your a joke. Your a real peice of crap

Shanna Rademacher I would not recommend this place to anybody. To start with, my insurance company sent my Jeep there for some minor damage after a fender bender, they totaled it out. It was not damaged enough to be totaled. I think they probably totaled it out so they could buy it at auction for a good price. The second thing was that they took my belongings out of my car so when I went to go get the stuff after it had been towed by Insurance to their auction lot there was nothing in there. When I called and asked where my property was they had it "somewhere" she blamed it on the mechanic at one point and another time she didnt know who did it then she said it was an accident but they didnt bother to put it back nor did anybody call me to notify me they had my property but they had my number because Id called a couple times wondering what it was taking so long to get done (before I knew they were totaling it out) because theyd had it for a month already. I went to pick up my stuff and things were missing and I never got my brand new umbrella back either. I think this place is sketchy AF and I wouldnt trust them with one bit. Shady AF

Yerbolat Dosby Craig helped repair the hitch coupler in my camping trailer. He replaced the damaged one with the new one and welded it nicely. I am a happy camper now! Didn’t have to skip camping. Craig promised to come over and kept his word while all other places were booked up days and weeks ahead.

Ali My car suddenly wouldnt turn on after stopping for gas. This was the only place I found that might be open by the time my tow came. And I am so glad I came here! They were great, friendly, respectful, diagnosed my car quickly, and had my car fixed the following evening. My bill was also reasonable and the same amount I was quoted when I dropped the car off. All around a great service, I will be coming back for any future car needs. If you need even further endorsement: I told my dad everything about the experience, the issue, and the cost. Customer service is poor, wait times are long, and while I used to receive a full report on my vehicle, which I loved, I didn’t receive a report this last time. I probably won’t come back.

He also helped me find a good mirror for my car and replaced it in under an hour! Huey is amazing at his job and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Churryl Zavier Chappel Ryan helped me out when I was in dire straights with my Toyota Camry. He is fair, reasonable, extremely knowledgeable and takes pride in his work and his business. He has an ethic (both personal and professional) that isnt seen in mechanics (or humans in general) now a days. He will get your work done and your vehicle will be at peak performance. You cant get a better mechanic this this one.

Shanna Rademacher Ryan was amazing. I brought my 2012 Lincoln MKT Ecoboost in for some work done after just purchasing the car and finding out it had some issues. I initially called around 4 places for an estimate and he emailed me promptly with an estimate that was a few hundred lower than the dealership and lower than the other shops I called. He got my car in the next morning and I had it back the same day. Being that its an Ecoboost engine its finicky about things, its not the easiest vehicle to work on because of how is built to function a certain way, but he was knowledgeable and kept me informed with photos and whatnot through the process. And in the end he charged less than the original estimate. Hes basically a one man circus in there doing it all on his own. Im very untrusting when it comes to mechanics because I had just been screwed over pretty badly for a couple years over at buckys here in Renton and didnt want to have to find a mechanic, but I got to a point that I couldnt fix some things myself and was forced to find help. Im very glad I did. He will definitely be my go to guy for any work on my vehicles. I recommend you check him out. Especially if youre tired of getting ripped off by the other places. If youve ever had bad experiences dealing with sneaky, lying shops that overcharge for work they never even did, I guarantee you will absolutely appreciate what your money will get you at R&D. I will be recommending him to anybody that needs work done.

Dahl Aria “Bambi” Refused to do a simple oil change due to my ignition switch needing to connect four wires together (it was stolen last year and money prevented me from getting it serviced). When I asked why, the exact response was "I dont know". This was after I confirmed over the phone it wouldnt be an issue and took time out of my work day to drop my car off. This on top of them charging double what a real shop would. Avoid at all costs.

Hannah St. Clair One hour in & out: oil changed and new fog lights installed. According to Google & Reddit, comparing the costs for fog light installation, their labor costs are more affordable than most auto shops. It cost about $275 for the fog light installation & labor costs. This was my first oil change since purchasing my used car from a dealership. While inspecting my car, Sun Auto employees found out that the dealership had not given me all the information about previous inspections and maintenance. The employees at Sun Auto gave me recommendations for next steps to make sure my car is all up-to-date, which I appreciated, and didn’t try to pressure me into getting it all fixed that day by them. I would recommend and would go again!
