Melissa Mickael Logan did a wonderful job with my haircut! It was great because I told her how stubborn my wave would get after a cut and she gave me a cut that was super complimentary to my face and worked with what my hair wanted to be doing, anyway. I loved how I walked out of there. She was also really gentle with her handling and had a great personality - its really nice to have someone who can read when Im happy to chat and when I need a quiet breather. The lady at the front desk was also really lovely and kind, and I just appreciated the entire salon experience.

Scout Been looking for a hairstylist for months now and finally decided to try Emily since she had so many great reviews. Did not disappoint. She is so nice and very hospitable. We clicked right away and was chatting like old friends. I felt welcomed and of course my haircut was awesome! Showed Emily some pics and she nailed it. It was a big change going from a bob to a pixie cut . So glad I found Emily and will now be a regular customer . This salon is very nice and clean and has plenty parking.

K GM Emily & staff were so kind & absolutely fabulous! I came in with a bad haircut grow out. She went to work made my hair look great! She’s also a fantastic human! Thank you Emily!

Divya Rajan Emily is amazing. I have curly hair - the Indian wavy-curly and only a few stylists get it right. Emily is one of them. This is my second haircut with her and I feel like I can completely trust her with dramatically new styles. I particularly appreciate the time Emily takes to talk and understand what I am looking for. I love the specificity in her questions. And I’m so excited about my new hairstyle.

Li Smith My mom really liked her haircut here. John was very friendly and his price is very competitive in the market! Will visit more in the future!

James Wong Been getting haircut from John for 10+ years. I just sit down and let him do his thing and I’m super happy afterwards. I told John he can’t retire as I won’t know what to do. I’ve gotten haircuts in New York City, San Fran and none is as good as John. He doesn’t speak much English but he is super friendly and talkative in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Angelica Grace Apondar I’ve been seeing Linda for the past 6 years. She always makes me feel so comfortable. We both share our daily lives and pick up where we left off. Her package for the Brazilian wax is highly recommended! She has done my eyebrows a few times and they always come out flawless! Book your next waxing or nail appointment with her!

Brandon Scott Ive only got mens haircuts from Daniel, so i can only speak in relation to his services. Hes experienced, friendly and consistent. Im pretty picky about haircuts, so im willing to pay more for those qualities. If youre in the same boat, definitely worth giving it a go.

Lindsay Peters Im new to the area, and you know how intimidating it can be to find a new hair stylist! I just went to Aja at Create, and I really cant recommend her enough! So fun, really took time to understand what I wanted, and my hair is EXACTLY what I wanted. Her product recommendations were on point too and I have a new routine at home that Im obsessed with!

Taegan Larsen I came in on the 5th to get my hair done and it was very nice. It is clean, the experience was great, and they did everything I asked perfectly and did not get rid of too much or too little hair.

Quyen Phung I recently got a balayage done by Yin, and I couldnt be happier with the results! From the moment I walked into the salon, Yin made me feel welcomed and understood exactly what I wanted. Booking appointments are so easy and convenient. The salon is gorgeous and so is the staff! My stylist, Bekah, takes care great care of my hair, she is amazing! She gives exceptional recommendations based off of my hair history and is expertise in mixing color. Overall, 10/10.

She accommodated her schedule to take me in at the Renton location (rather than their other location, Bellevue) I had an all over hair color with hair cut and I couldn’t be happier! Tee pays attention to detail and makes sure her service is comfortable and an inviting space. mike rivers Outstanding. Very good atmosphere. Change the waiting area seating to feel less DMV-ish, and that would be a giant improvement. Otherwise, the staff is Awesome, Fast, Polite, Engaged, Detailed, Genuine. The chairs you sit in when getting your haircut are great, as is each station. Clean, Organized, Comfortable. They also have hot towels and wipe most the hair off your face, ears and neck when done, perfect! If you want to look like youre in the "know", its self check in. Walk straight in and go to the little tablet computer and follow the very simple prompts to check in, and then go sit down.

Shane Karns Duy is the best. Been going here for almost 4 years now and have never had a bad experience. You can’t beat the price for such a good haircut and beard trim. Always leave a good tip, your barber deserves it!

Keilan Freeman Friendly service, good attention to detail, and relaxing care. Well priced and a good value in my opinion. It does take a while and they werent punctual for my appointment though. I got a haircut, mid taper fade, from Thai today and he did a nice job. It looks clean, and is what I wanted. It was $30 , which I thought was good value. He also did a nice job with straight razor shave of back of my neck, some scalp massage points, and percussion massage of my upper back. I almost fell asleep a few times! Quite a pleasant and relaxing experience. Opportunity for improvement: it did take quite a long time , at over an hour. I also had an appointment booked and they were 15 minutes late getting to me. Id certainly appreciate a bit more punctuality. This brings it down to four stars.

Their cuts are always consistently high quality, they have a ton of barbers available when it’s busy and they are reasonably priced. Nguyen is great and she evens cuts my 2 year old son’s hair! I moved to Michigan a few months ago, but whenever I get back to the PNW, I get a haircut here

As a client who values professionalism and expertise, I had high hopes when I came to you for a hair coloring appointment, seeking to match my natural grey silver roots with a platinum hairstyle without any blonde, orange, or gold highlights. Despite clearly articulating my desired outcome and even providing a reference picture, I was dismayed by the results of the coloring session. The end result did not align with what I had envisioned, as my hair still exhibited noticeable brassiness that I specifically wanted to avoid. Moreover, I was taken aback when you suggested that using purple shampoo would help rectify the brassiness issue. While I understand the benefits of purple shampoo in maintaining color over time, I believe that as a skilled stylist, the onus is on you to deliver the desired results accurately during the initial appointment. I should not have to rely on post-coloring treatments to correct a fundamental flaw in the coloring process. Whats gut wrenching is I leave for vacation in 4 days! As a client who values transparency and honesty, I feel compelled to communicate my disappointment with the service I received. It is disheartening to invest time and money in a service that falls short of expectations, especially when those expectations were clearly communicated in advance. Moving forward, I believe it is in my best interest to seek out a stylist who can consistently deliver the results I desire without compromise. I appreciate the effort you put into the appointment, but unfortunately, the outcome did not meet my expectations. I hope that this feedback serves as constructive criticism that can help you enhance your services and better cater to the needs of your clients in the future. Ive attached the following photos one of which was the color I desired and you can clearly see that didnt happen.

Lisa Treen Karly is a rock star! My only regret is not finding her sooner. She listened to what I was looking for & made it even better. Truly talented. Side note: the product She used on my hair made my cat go crazy like it was made of catnip. Hilarious side effect.

B. F. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I went to this place because they were recommended by a friend. Victoria did my hair after I showed her a picture of a style I wanted. She did a number on my hair. It is butchered and nothing like a picture I showed her. Ive been trying to get a hold of them for about 3 weeks so they can fix all the problems they left on my hair but nothing, yet. They dont answer the phone, they answer and have no time or say they will call back and nothing. This is after charging $70 for a normal haircut and no extras. The most Horrible experience ever. Dont waste your money or time on brag hair salon. Its a horrible place to go to. A Great alternative would be: THE SALON 1190 NE. Sunset Blvd Renton, WA 98056 In going here to fix what brag left on my hair.

Anana O I had my first appointment with Nonnie at Brag Hair Salon in Downtown Renton, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! My friend Leanna recommended him, and now I’m obsessed with his work on my type 2a curly hair. Nonnie understood exactly what I wanted—a good trim to get rid of the split and dead ends while keeping my length intact. I also asked for a toner to cool down some warm tones peeking through, and he delivered beautifully. My hair feels and looks amazing! If you have wavy or curly hair and need a haircut, I highly recommend Nonnie. He’s talented, attentive, and truly understands how to work with textured hair. The salon itself is super cute, with plenty of parking, and I love that it’s local to Renton. For the haircut and toner, I paid $100, and it was worth every penny. I’ll definitely be back!

Elaine Amazona I came in not really sure what treatment should I get. I already have a haircut and hair color inspo. My hair is in-between of wavy and curly and I wanted something that will just smoothen my hair while keeping the volume of it. Macy explained to me what to be expected and helped me to achieve the look that I wanted. She did Keratin treatment, with hair coloring, and haircut. Robert Scherting I must admit...I was very impressed not only with the service but my stylist Cindy. Very fast, skilled and I havent had a better haircut in over 20yrs. I initially hadnt planned on even getting a cut but figured, "why not pop in" as I was walking by. Am I sure happy I did. I most certainly will be returning. I cannot speak for any of the other stylists but Cindy did a wonderful cut. Be sure to tip her well cause for cost of just the cut...its well above reproach.

D Kennett I don’t like to leave bad reviews at places but the woman that opened the door for me was super rude… The door locks until they buzz you in. This was my first time here and I didn’t know that. I was let in and looked for the front desk when her shrill voice cackled “may I help you” in a tone as though I were doing something wrong. I was looking for a walk in appointment and she let me know her schedule was booked until the middle of October. Truthfully I wouldn’t have let her cut my hair anyway… She can’t even take care of her own hair. I walked out and won’t be making an appointment. I found a place a few miles away that didn’t take walk ins but wasn’t rude either and they were happy to make an appointment. I wish broom Hilda luck but I won’t ever go back to this place.

MOM T (Terry) We took my mother in law to several hair stylist until we had a referral from a lady in my mother-in-law new community. Emy at Studio 116 LLC, Emy is wonderful she talked to my mother-in-law with my husband interpreting for his mom. Emy did exactly what my mother-in-law wanted the first try. We are delighted to have found Emy. This has been over 5 yrs now since then. Since then we have moved farther away and moved my in-laws in with us and we still go see Emy at Studio 116 in Renton with mom. I would recommend Emy or her co-stylest to anyone. Its always a pleasant experience as all the stylist have been there for years and have a constant string of return customers. Very warm, welcoming, funny, and professional.

S C Lisa did root touch-up and trim. First time I met her and she was easy to talk to and did a great job on my hair. Big parking lot, comfy salon, relaxed atmosphere. Couldnt ask for more! Im glad I tried this place out. Ill definitely go back again! So glad I found this place. UPDATE: Lisa is my permanent stylist now. I always love the way she does my hair. Im never disappointed. Bumped up to 5 stars because thats the right rating for the salon, and Lisa.

Trena Brown My son came there for the first time and one of the stylist messed his hair up so bad well I would say she didnt do anything to his hair he wanted his dreds maintains and she took $350.00 dollars from him and he sat there for over an hour before she even started he had to call the police to try to get his money back and they said its civil so now we will be taking it to court

Margaret Wilkins i went in to get a cut because my usual stylist couldnt fit me in. I got the day and time I wanted. I love the decor, intimacy, and spaciousness of this salon. Cheryl was very sweet and offered me the Aveda tea, which I love. Cheryl cut and styled my hair exactly the way I wanted. I am so happy with my cut. I will definitely return!

Mrs. W Tamara does a great job with curly hair. I struggled in the PNW to find someone who knew how to cut it. My son and I both are customers! She is great and is competitively priced. I recommend her to anyone with curly locks!

Oka Jimena I go to this salon since 2014. I am willing to drive to Tii Gavo any distance as long as I can get service from Tamara. She is fantastic. I usually like to do natural highlights and haircut. She always pays attention to me and my wishes. She is the best at what she does! (I tried lots of different salons from Tacoma to Bellevue but Tii Gavo is the best for me!)

Timothy Ruzicki If you want a great haircut, I highly recommend making an appointment with Tamara at Salon Tii Gavo. Shes fabulous! Shes talented and highly skilled, shes wonderful to talk with, and her pre-cut shampoos are so relaxing theyll put you in a trance. I truly cant say enough good things about my experience at this salon, and Im always super happy with the haircut I get there. I leave each appointment feeling like a million bucks, and you really cant ask for anything better than that.

Amanda Smith Brandee is the BEST. I like drastic hair cuts and colors (no REALLY drastic) and shes the first stylist in Renton Ive found that listens to my requests and doesnt try to convince me to do the same old thing. I demand a lot of precision haircuts that are a real pain to do and she always rocks it. I cant say enough about how great she is.

KeiLani Buswell Brandee is super amazing! I was very skeptical about having someone touch my hair after having stylist mess up time and time again. I got referred to Canvas Studio but the person I got was unavailable and redirected me to Brandee. I sent her photos of my hair and what I was looking for and she made me feel secure about trusting her to at least work on it once, sure enough SHE IS THE ONLY ONE I GO TO! She has been doing my hair for the past two to three years. She has done many different colors over the past years. Weve gone from my natural dark brown (almost black) hair to lighter browns, to really light blondes and even a light purple. My color tends to last a while, and I love that she DOES NOT damage (FRY) your hair and she makes your visit super comforting and fun. YOU WILL WANT TO COME BACK! Trust me, my mom will not go anywhere else, and my friend after her stylist fried the heck out of her hair...it took one time with Brandee and she too was hooked on her. Lastly, I always love that she listens to what youre looking for, and that she wants to make sure youre always looking fabulous until your next visit. Dont know what you want, dont worry she will, all of us ladies got to the point we show her an example and tell her go for it because we have never left disappointed. Tiffany Ly Not as great as the reviews. Mostly elders go here so maybe I didnt get the treatment like them. I didnt like the vibe the reception gave me, looks like she was in training. My first time here I wasnt greeted by her. The only good thing was that my new barber did a pretty awesome job. But I wont go back because I wasnt greeted and the owner didnt greet me either but she greeted others that came in after me. Didnt feel like a valued customer.

Sarah Leyrer They do a great job. Its hard to find stylists who are really good at cutting short hair, but Sheryl is excellent. She is really talented at listening to you or looking at photos, then doing exactly what you want. I get compliments on my hair all the time.

Minoo Tarighat Do Not hesitate to see Treasa , she is the actual professional in balayage, just tell her what you want and you got it! Not only that she gave me great product that my hair did not split unlike the previous times it went though the same process! But I never got this ash look and I thought I never get it because my hair is not strong or is so black. But she did magic! She will be my for ever hairstylist and even my husband wants to get his hair cut and colored.

AV Goodsell They did a great job cutting my hair recently (talk to Sheryl)! The owner was also really nice to chat with and runs a pretty special salon. I especially appreciated how patient and understanding they were with me having to bring my 1 year old.

Ena Hua My sister recommended this place but honestly it’s really bad. I went in there for a balayage but came out with a very sensitive scalp with burns and nail scratches and NOT what I wanted. The three hairdressers worked on dying my hair and were super rough with my scalp. The whole time they were scrubbing it really roughly and only spoke Vietnamese. I don’t think they knew I could understand them but I literally could hear them questioning themselves in the middle of the bleaching process!! When I got to my second bleaching, the whole thing was obviously very uneven and I could see how some parts weren’t even bleached properly. It’s a balayage but they still touched my roots even when I asked not to. Honestly not a good time. Paid less than 300 which makes sense, you are definitely paying for what you get. In this case, poor treatment and a bad hair dye job!!!

Mon Gordon My daughter got hair cut and highlights today. Everyone was so nice and friendly. They spent 4 hours to do her hair and explain everything patiently. My daughter loves the result.

Malyn Munguia I had a Keratin treatment with Abraham I was very happy and so satisfied with the results! He took his time and since the process takes a while to finish he makes sure that I’m comfortable , checking if I need water or anything. I’ll definitely going’ back to get my hair done here! She has totally re-styled the salon and made it her own... an inviting and comfortable atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Ev Torres Very nice, clean salon. My hairdresser Christina is very professional, patient and understanding. This is important since I suffer from a chronic illness, so she had to adjust her methods in order to accommodate my special needs. The location is easy to find and theres been no issues finding parking.
