Karl Childers Dr Greenspahn is the best. His practice is focused not on symptoms but on your HEALTH and wellness as a patient. You will get care directed at improving your health across the board and his entire staff are all part of that consistent approach to excellence. Im glad I found him as a doctor; Ive never had a better physician. Also, his office is very well organized, no clutter and it is easy to get to.

Clark Moore I recently underwent a stem cell injection procedure at Dr. Hongs office, and I cannot praise the experience enough. From start to finish, the care I received was exceptional. Dr. Hong and the entire office staff were amazing. I was apprehensive and scared about the procedure, but the staff took such great care of me, providing reassurance and comfort throughout. Their professionalism and empathy truly stood out. I was particularly worried about the pain associated with the stem cell injections, but thanks to their expertise and gentle approach, the procedure was virtually painless. It felt like first-class service as I was cared for and attended to at every step. Dr. Hong, in particular, was outstanding. He genuinely seemed to care about my well-being, not just during the procedure but also afterward. He followed up with me to ensure I was recovering well, which made me feel valued as a patient. If I ever need to undergo the same procedure again, I wouldnt want anyone else to handle my medical care. Dr. Hong and his team have my highest recommendation for their exceptional service and genuine care. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful experience so smooth and comfortable.

DonnaMarie Aibinder From entering WCPM starting with Vy at the front desk, to the MAs including Jordyn, nurses, through being diagnosed and treated by Dr. Yang, this practice is first class. Everyone cares about the patient, and does their best to help. I was treated with kindness, respect, and the possible treatments and outcomes explained thoroughly.

vickie callson Have been a patient at this practice for 40+ years and recently had to change my PCP. Saw DR. MANDALA and I have to say that it was the worst visit to a PCP I have ever had. I had 2 main concerns and was very clear that I was having foot surgery in 2 days and would be non-weight bearing for 8 weeks. So, what does my after visit summary say... "Get aerobic exercise 3 times per week and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables." I kid you not!! It took her 12 days to respond to a MyChart message! Then, she prescribed a pill known to upset your GI tract. I questioned this because Ive had all sorts of problems with my GI tract and her response was to just take one pill a day instead of two. I am on the hunt for a different primary care because nobody should have to see this doctor.

Arjun Mayilvaganan My first visit to the clinic was pleasant. Had a great experience with the front-desk staff, Nursing Assistant Mr. Forma, and Dr. Khiatah. No wait time. The process was smooth and they helped me get to things quickly with ease. Got my annual physical and blood work done, with same day results.

Gregg Sloate I am a new patient at Overlake at Newcastle Commons as of April, 2024. I have already had several visits due to my medical issues, and feel very comfortable and good about going there. My primary care physician, Dr. Gregory Maddox, does an excellent job. Hes clearly very knowledgeable and experienced, keeps up with the latest medical research, and as always, is easily capable of answering my questions, also takes the time needed to do so. He seems to genuinely care, and he also seems quite interested in educating; maybe thats in response to my obvious desire for education, but one way or the other, he provides all the information I am seeking. He is also quite cheerful and pleasant to deal with each time. The nurses, medical assistants, and other support staff there also seem to be of high quality, medically knowledgeable, reply to emails fast, and are very pleasant and helpful. That extends even to the reception area people who check us in. In fairness, this is the very first medical practice Ive been involved with since the advent of emailing with medical providers, where the doctor virtually never responds to emails sent specifically to him-- its nearly always a medical assistant or a nurse who replies-- which I dont like. But I have learned that its the cost structure that causes this to be necessary. Along these lines, the lab there seems a bit bare bones-- one even has to make an advance appointment just to get a blood draw done as per doctors orders-- but on the other hand, the results always come back fast, usually that same night. Overall, Overlake Clinic at Newcastle Commons does a very good job, and I feel that my medical care is in fine hands there. Recommend highly.

Amar Pradhan Appreciation for Dr. Maddox, and Overlake Newcastle Staff My family and I have been visiting this facility for over four years, primarily due to the exceptional care provided by Dr. Gregory Maddox. Dr. Maddox is undoubtedly one of the most knowledgeable and dedicated doctors in the Bellevue and Newcastle area. He takes the time to truly understand his patients needs and concerns, ensuring they receive the best possible care. Even in emergencies, Dr. Maddox has gone above and beyond, accommodating us despite his busy schedule to thoroughly discuss health issues, provide guidance, and prescribe medications or recommend specialists as necessary. His patient-first approach is both admirable and deeply appreciated. I also want to extend my gratitude to Nurse for his outstanding support. He works seamlessly alongside Dr. Maddox, and their collaboration ensures a smooth and effective care experience. Together, they make an exceptional team, which greatly enhances the quality of service we receive. Additionally, I’ve noticed positive improvements in the front office staff at the Overlake Newcastle Primary Care. Their professionalism and efficiency are a welcome change and contribute to a more pleasant overall experience. Thank you for the excellent care and dedication to patient well-being. Please continue the great work!

Ryoko The doctor addressed my problems well, but his ability to explain the treatment to his patient has room to improve. He suggested using two different ointments to apply two distinct parts: one is OTC, and the other is prescription. He did explain those, but he did it very quickly without details. I needed to spend some time to understand the plan after the visit thoroughly. He prescribed the medication, which he never mentioned during my visit. He wrote in summary to take the same medicines in different strengths, but he never gave me the usage of the medication.

Kristena Louie Everyone here is fantastic! Been going here for over 20 years and when my doctor retired, I thought there’s no way anyone could replace her, but I’ve seen 2 other doctors here, and both are wonderful! They truly show they care, take the time to explain everything, share personal anecdotes and tips, and rush tests if you need it. They really show they are interested in your whole health and life, and are interested in building a long term relationship with you. So thankful I’ve been lucky enough to be a Swedish patient for my entire adult life.

Frankie Valenti I am just astounded by these reviews. And zero responses from the clinic director, too? It really sounds like this place went totally downhill as soon as this Cruz woman came aboard and the good doctors left. Can you imagine refusing to see a patient bc she was depressed at some point in the past? And saying "I wont see people with mental problems??" Thats like 90% of the USA, now, maam. It could be that the receptionist is terrible at sharing info accurately and doesnt communicate what a patient wants or what the doctor says with any accuracy. Thats why you never drop a patient without speaking to them directly, yourself, "doctor." We really cant even call you that, because youve violated your oath so many times. I encourage everyone harmed by this person to seek counsel- legal consultations are free!

yogesh ramola There is no ZERO option, hence giving one star! After Dr Bardman retired the services had literally fallen on the floor! Dr Cruz seems very incompetent, she is always running late, doesn’t hear out to her patients and so far in my three visits (including annual checkups and follow ups), I felt she is very rude and loud, not calm at all. Really missing dr Bardman as she was great doctor and never felt this way for past 15+ years!

joanna kadish I had a nasty looking chalazia under my right eye and did what my primary caregiver recommended, which was to get on the Kaiser Permanente website and do an online care chat with a clinician. I discussed symptoms and uploaded photos and soon had a referral to see an ophthalmologist, Dr. Fine, who turned out to have the best recommendations and insights, as well as medication to aid me in treating my inflammation. In my case the system worked beautifully, and quickly.

debbie Fischer This flu season is really taking its toll on patients and medical staffs. Arrived today as my Influenza A has morphed into one of the worst coughs Ive ever had. The waiting rooms are packed with people just like me. Every staff member I came in contact with was extremely kind and caring. It took a long time but I was NOT the only one there. My doctor was very thorough and made me feel like I was his 100% focus. I was able to receive medication and instructions for future care. They are trying their best but there are many in front of you and behind you. Have a heart for your health care provider.

Lorena Terres I had a deeply upsetting experience during my recent visit to Virginia Mason at Bellevue, I went for a vaginal ultrasound. The way I was treated left me feeling uncomfortable and distressed, During the procedure, the nurse demonstrated a complete lack of communication and empathy. While I understand that some pressure is required during an ultrasound, there were times when the nurse applied significant pressure to my belly, but she never warned me beforehand or explained what she was doing. This left me feeling unprepared and uncomfortable, as I was caught off guard each time she applied force. As a patient, I believe it is essential to receive clear communication before such actions so that I can mentally prepare and feel more at ease. The nurse did not provide any explanation or heads-up, which I found very distressing and unacceptable. Additionally, the nurse was dismissive throughout the entire appointment. She did not make eye contact with me, nor did she engage in any kind of conversation or explanation. When the procedure ended, she simply said, “OK, you can go,” without offering any further acknowledgment or care. The lack of empathy and communication, combined with the abrupt manner in which the procedure was carried out, left me feeling deeply upset. It’s important for healthcare providers, particularly those performing intimate exams, to approach patients with respect, clear communication, and sensitivity. I want to emphasize that many patients, like myself, may have emotional triggers that make certain situations even more difficult. This experience made me feel emotionally shaken and unable to continue with the ultrasound. I kindly ask that you review the procedures followed by staff, ensuring that nurses are trained in providing clear explanations and maintaining a compassionate approach, particularly when performing procedures that may be uncomfortable or involve physical contact. I truly believe that by improving communication and sensitivity, you can create a more supportive and respectful environment for all patients. I would appreciate hearing back from you regarding any steps that will be taken to address this matter. I sincerely hope that this feedback leads to positive change and ensures that other patients do not have to endure a similar experience.

Chozen Gemz Building aka most of the offices are closed unless you are an employee. Also...whoever works for enrolling people for orca cards via health insurance needs to get their directions rights and stop sending people to the wrong places. Had me lost for 2 hours downtown trying to find the right place. Telling someone "public health" building is not helpful at all. The correct address to get your orca card is at 201 S Jackson St. Not this building.

Do your job you worthless and insolent bureaucrats. The police need to do their job too. You always pass the responsibility/accountability off on to someone else. DO YOUR JOB. Skywalker Feng Went there for a Covid-19 vaccine booster shot appointment. The staff there are nice and friendly. The overall office environment however, is not suited for Covid vaccination IMO. The space is rather small and crowded, too many people are forced to be seated in a tight waiting room, increasing the chance of cross-infection.

Aaron Schwarz Dr. Lance is my primary care doctor. It takes weeks or month to get an appointment to see him. I recently had a cold virus that left me with persistent sinus infection, so I needed to get antibiotic, relatively simple right? I go in to the front desk and say "I have a medical problem and need to speak with any doctor" The customer service person asks "Whats the problem" so I said "its been 10 days, and the infection not going away, so I need help, is there anyone here that can help me today?" and they say "Sorry, they are no appointments available today" / by contrast when our cat has a problem the local vet bends over backwards to fit her in right away even when fully booked / Virginia Mason in DT Bellevue has turned me away 4 times now like they did this morning, without helping me in the slightest other than to tell me to go to an urgent care. That is not medical care. Does a healthy person require a doctor or an ill person? I only needed to talk to a doctor for a few minutes and they wouldnt even help. The local urged care took of me within minutes, giving me helpful advice, along with the prescription antibiotic and nasal decongestant based steroid OTC recommendation, then Edwin at Safeway helped fill the prescription & was appalled at how I was rejected from any form of care at Virginia Mason saying "How is that medical care if they will not see you when you need help with a medical problem?"

Marianna Hendrickx Maureen Berberian is a nurse at Kaiser Gastroenterology Bellevue. She is very incompetent, careless about your future health. She Orders unnecessarily CT Scans with IV Contrast Angiography one after another, exposing you to a big dose of Radiation. She will hide the Radiation fact from you, won’t explain cancer risks from these procedures. She will order you to go do it. Because she doesn’t know anything in medicine. She reads only Radiation tests. She won’t listen to you. I don’t know how such angry person like Berberian can work for public?

Desiree Levings Five stars for Tanya Richmond in the 1A Gastroenterology Surgery Center. It was my one year post-cancer surgery procedure so I was definitely feeling anxiety. From the moment she took me back until I was wheeled in for my exam, she made me feel more at ease. Reminding me to breathe. Gave me a warm blanket and hooked in the warming sheet because I was freezing and afraid. Explained things slowly and thoroughly. Her kindness more than made up for what happened after that. Kindness and compassion. I know we all seem to become another number after a while but, every once in a while someone like Tanya makes us feel human again. Thank you!!
